השבוע השתתפתי בפעם הראשונה בסדנא, אצל שריק, אשר הדריכה ביחד עם קרנושי ופית המרציפן, איך להכין אלבום מתקליטורים משומשים. פגשתי שם נשים מקסימות, שהכרתי עד כה רק במרחב הוירטואלי. מרוב הכיף של מפגש חברתי, הספקתי לסיים שם רק את ה'דף' הראשון (והאמת היא שצד אחד שלו כל כך לא מצא חן בעיני, שקיבלתי את העצה של 'חתולי 8', ופשוט קרעתי אותו והכנתי מחדש. הפעם כבר הייתי מרוצה יותר מהתוצר. את יתר ה'דפים', סיימתי כבר בבית.
אז תודה רבה לשריק, קרנושי ולפיה, שמקיימות כזה פרוייקט כיפי של מפגשי יצירה.
באתר שבו אני אחת מצוות המעצבות, Simple Doodles, האתגר החדש הוא "לצאת מהקופסא", אז הנה היציאה שלי מהקופסא, וגם קצת מהארון, :)))))).....
זה אתגר מאד פתוח לפרשנויות והוא בעצם מזמין לעשות משהו שבד"כ אנחנו לא עושות, או שלא עשינו עד כה, פשוט למתוח קצת את גבולות היצירתיות שלנו. אז אני אשמח מאד לראות שם גם השתתפות ישראלית :).

Welcome to another Simple Doodles challenge!
This time we challenge you to go out of your comfort zone and create something you don't normaly do, or never done before, so get out of your box and join us in the fun!
I have two projects to share with you today for this challenge.
The first is a mini album, made of used cd's. This week I went to my first crop (so this is also "out of the box" for me...LOL), and the project was making this mini album and the theme was "journey". I managed to complete only the first 'page', cause the company was so great :), but I've finished it at home.
I'm about to take you all to a cyber journey to one of the most beatiful places I know (some will say - in the whole world), so take a sit, relax and enjoy your journey with me....
It is about a weekend journey we took on Feb 2009 at Judea Desert, in a place called "Ein Gedi", which is a very beautiful oasis, nearby the "Dead Sea". On the first day we walked to "Ein Bokek", and on the next day we went to "Nahal David". Both of those streams flow into the Dead Sea.
So here it is (bare with me for so many photos, I was carried away with this project):

This is a Hamsa, a traditional Middle East wall decoration. You can read more about it here.
I've made it on a MDF. I colored it with acrylic and then decorated it with glitter and the flower decal.
