A wedding card

I've made this card for a wedding of the son of a co-worker, who happens to be also a very good friend of mine.

I used CheeryLynn die (franch patastry) to make the doily, and two MME lace stamps - one is a semi circular and the other is a border one.

It's a very CAS card, and with the addition of the scoring lines on the right, I think it's very elegant. Perfect for the occasion.

כרטיס נו"פ שהכנתי לחתונה של הבן של חברה טובה מהעבודה.

את הדוילי חתכתי בעזרת הביג שוט עם תבנית החיתוך של CheeryLynn, החתמתי שתי חותמות תחרה של MME, חרצתי כמה פסים אורכיים בצד והוספתי ברכה מאותיות ספוג מנצנצות. אמרתי שזה כרטיס נו"פ... אבל התוצאה מאד אלגנטית, כמתחייב מהאירוע.

המשך מתקפת הכרטסת. התירוץ שלי הוא ניסיון להוריד את המפלס של שאריות הדפים. האמת היא שאני לא רואה שהמפלס באמת יורד.... אבל לפחות קופסת הכרטיסים שלי התהדרה לה בעוד כמה כרטיסים שישכבו שם לעת מצוא. איכשהו, מתישהו, למישהו - ימצא להם שימוש.

שיחקתי עם קצת שאריות כדי להפחית, ולו במעט, את מפלס השאריות בקופסא. יצאו שלושה כרטיסים פשוטים ושימושיים (לפחות עבורי הם שימושיים... גם אם המקבל יזרוק לפח דקה אחרי שיקבלם...).

אחת הסיבות בגללן אני מאד אוהבת אתגרים, היא כי הם גורמים לי לצאת מהקופסא, להשתמש בחומרים/שילובי צבעים/טכניקות וכיוצ"ב שלא הייתי משתמשת אלמלא האתגר.

לכן כשראיתי את האתגר החדש ב"יוצאות מהקווים", עם שילוב צבעים שאין מצב שהייתי משתמשת בו, ידעתי שזו הזדמנות מצויינת לצאת מאזור הנוחות שלי.

צבעים של ורוד/אדום/כתום הם ממש לא הצבעים הרגילים בהם אני משתמשת. כאן באה לעזרתי קופסת השאריות (הבלתי נגמרת, יש לומר את האמת), ולא סתם שאריות, אלא של חברה שאני מאד אוהבת - Jillibean Soup. גם פרוייקט השאריות בקומונה 'המפתח ליצירה' שימש תמריץ הולם לשימוש בשאריות.

אבל אין ישן בלי חדש, נכון? אז המדבקה העגולה, בכרטיס השני, היא מקולקציה סתווית של אותה חברה, שפינטזתי עליה זמן רב, והנה התמזל מזלי ו-Mrs. G הואילה ברוב טובה להביאה לחנות Xmix. וכמובן, שאי אפשר בלי הביג שוס החדש, שאף הוא נרכש לאחרונה באותה חנות קטנה ומטריפה. הבסיס בשני הכרטיסים עבר הבלטה של נקודות, ובכרטיס הראשון גם השתמשתי בתבנית חיתוך של רשת לולים/כוורת של חב' Cheery Lynn.

תודה רבה ל'יוצאות', שגרמו לי באמת לצאת מהקווים שלי.

בבלוג של קיט החיקוי האתגר השלישי החודש הוא להכין כרטיסי ברכה - בגרסה נשית ובגרסה גברית. השתמשתי בשאריות מקיט החיקוי של אוקטובר, ובכמה שאריות קארדסטוקים מן הקופסא הבלתי נגמרת. הסקיצה ששימשה בסיס לשני הכרטיסים - זהה, רק בהיפוך.

התוויות לכיתוב הברכה, כמו גם האווירון המתוק והפרחים הקטנטנים, נחתכו בעזרת הצעצוע החדש שקניתי לי בחנות איקסמיקס של Mrs. G, ושמו בישראל Big Shot של Sizzix. התחדשתי לי גם בכמה וכמה תבניות (איך אפשר בלי?...) אני חוששת שנרשמת התמכרות חדשה... היצור השחור/ורוד בעל היהלומים מהווה עכשיו את האטרקציה החדשה בביתנו. הילדים פשוט נגנבו מאפשרויות החיתוכים וההבלטות (ואני? אני סתם אדישה... הבאתי את זה בשבילם...  מה, לא?)/

I had some leftovers on my desk from some projects I've been working on lately, and I decided to use some of them for a birthday card so someone who's birthday is in a few weeks. Fall/autumn colors were perfect for this card.

נאספו להן כמה שאריות מפרוייקטים קודמים, והחלטתי לנצל אותן לכרטיס יום הולדת. מאחר שזה מיועד למישהו שיום הולדתו חל בעוד כמה שבועות, בעיצומו של הסתיו, הרי שצבעי שלכת היו ממש מתאימים. 
הרקע הוא בעצם ניסוי שעשיתי עם מסיכה חדשה, ואח"כ השתמשתי בה בדף הזה שהכנתי. מדף הניסוי חתכתי חתיכה מתאימה בשביל הרקע.

הכרטיס הזה, כמו גם אחרים שמידי פעם אני עושה, מאפשר לי להרגיש קצת יותר טוב עם המוני השאריות הקטנות שאני טורחת לשמור. לעיתים אני תוהה מה הגודל המינימלי שמתחת לו, גם אני אשליך את הנייר המדוגם... 

ובקרוב מאד אעלה דף נוסף שהכנתי, אז אשמח אם תשובו ותבקרו בבלוג במהרה.

Bon Voyage and farewell

No, I'm not leaving... LOL, it's a gift and a card I've made for a co-worker. She's leaving us for 2 years, to the States, and I'll be missing her a lot.

I've made her an altered notebook, with dividers,  to write down all she needs and wants, with envelopes for photos and small souvenirs, with a matching card.

The dp are S.E.I. papers I got from my generous bloggy friend, Keren Tamir (thank you, Keren!), and it was a great opportunity to use those pinky papers :).

מחברת מעוצבת וכרטיס ברכה שהכנתי לחברה מהעבודה, שעוזבת אותנו לשנתיים, לארה"ב.

במחברת יש חוצצים, לנושאים שונים שהיא תרצה או תצטרך לרשום, ומעטפות להכניס תמונות ומזכרות קטנות.

אין לי  הזדמנויות רבות להשתמש בדפים וקישוטים ורודים, זו הייתה הזדמנות נהדרת להשתמש בדפים ורודים פרחוניים שקיבלתי במתנה מחברה וירטואלית.

Free Hug Coupon - a card

While I'm already playing with my new Counterfeit Kit, I took a moment to use some of the scraps from my March Counterfiet Kit, and I made this card.

I've made this card for two challenges - #112 sketch at Tuesday Trio, whith the theme of brads/eyelets, and Catered Crop Reibpe Swap which asked for brads.
Here's the sketch:

I have both eyelets (the tiny stars) and brads (the center of the accordion flowers).

אז איך עבר עליכן ליל הסדר? אנחנו הסבנו לשולחן המשפחתי והשמחה הייתה גדולה.

אני אמנם כבר עובדת עם קיט החיקוי החדש שלי, אבל בכל זאת החלטתי להשתמש בשאריות מהקיט הקודם, של חודש מרץ, והכנתי את הכרטיס הזה, לשני אתגרים  - האחד הוא שלוש בשלישי, עם סקיצה ואתגר נלווה של בראדים/ניטים (בכרטיס יש משניהם...) ואתגר נוסף שבו זכיתי לאחרונה והוזמנתי להיות מעצבת אורחת, כשהנושא הוא בראדים.

A vintage card for Tuesday Trio

My counterfeit kit turned a blast... I still have lots of scraps, some of them are quite big, but not enough to make another lo, so it's time for cards from scraps :). I've made 10 layouts and 4 cards from this kit, and the leftovers can be used for more cards or parts of new layouts, but I need to use different colors, so this card will be my last project with March CKC. It is is not the last time I play with CKC, oh no! there's a new month coming and a new inspiration kit..

Anyway, for this vintage card I used #111 sketch from Tuesday Trio, with the theme of tearing:

קיט החיקוי שלי התגלה כהצלחה מסחררת מבחינתי. הכנתי ממנו 10 דפים מעוצבים ו-4 כרטיסים. נותרו עוד שאריות רבות, חלקן גם גדולות, אך לא בשביל להכין דף מעוצב, וזה השלב של הכרטיסים משאריות. למרות שנותרו שאריות רבות, שיכולות להספיק להרבה כרטיסים, הכרטיס הזה הוא הפרוייקט האחרון בהחלט מהקיט הזה. אני צריכה קצת גיוון בצבעים, והקיט הזה היה מוגבל למדי בצבעיו (אם כי השילוב שלהם מאד מצא חן בעיני לכתחילה).

זו בהחלט לא הפעם האחרונה בה אשתתף באתגר של קיט החיקוי. חודש חדש בפתח, שיביא עימו קיט השראה חדש לחיקוי... אז יש למה לצפות בשבוע הבא.

הכרטיס הזה הוכן לפי סקיצה מס' 111 של 'שלוש בשלישי'' עם האתגר הנלווה של קריעה.

Happy Purim - two cards for Tuesday Trio פורים שמח - שני כרטיסים לשלוש בשלישי

 שבת חורפית, גשומה, קרה וערפילית הייתה בהחלט יצירתית. חג פורים מתקרב, ואיתו משלוחי המנות שצריכים הילדים להביא לביה"ס. זה היה התמריץ להכין שני כרטיסי ברכה שילוו את משלוחי המנות. בשניהם השתמשתי בסקיצות של 'שלוש בשלישי ובשאריות מקופסת השאריות שלי.
הכרטיס הראשון - סקיצה מס' 107, כל הניירות המדוגמים הם שאריות מהקיט 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה אילן:

האתגר הנלווה היה 'בלינג', ולשם כך הוספתי את האבנים הכחולות המנצנצות. אני מקווה שאם זה יהיה ילד שיקבל את הכרטיס, הוא לא ירתע בגלל הניצנוץ הזה, כי בכל זאת הצבעים לא מאד 'של בנות'...
הנה תקריב:

הכרטיס השני הוכן לסקיצה מס' 108, והוא שילוב שאריות מחברות שונות - Basic Grey, DCWV, October Afternoon, LilyBee Design. האתגר הנלווה היה שימוש בלפחות 5 צבעים - התאים מאד לאווירה עליזה של פורים, ויצא לי כרטיס צבעוני למדי:
