A floating heart with an inlaid flower - with love card

Another card in my journey of reducing the scraps...

This time I made a floating element, a colorful heart shape, with an inlaid black flower.

It's a very lovely technique, and quite simple, but you do need to run the acetate sheet many times throw the die cutting machine.

I added some glittery orange enamel dots, and a die cut sentiment in black.

I followed the sketch from Global Project Design #370:

Especially for you - a triangle pocket card

I like to find inspiration all around the web, and Pinterest is such a wonderful app for getting inspired. When I saw the triangel pocket card, envelope look, I wanted to give it a try. There're many tutorials for making this style, you can see one of them HERE

I loved the colors combo in Global Design Project #431:

It reminded me a pp collection I have in my stash. I used two pp from this collection.

When you fold the front panel in triangels, it creates a pocket, where you can stack flowers, leaves or any other images.

I stamped  some stamped flowers in the challenge colors,  and some leaves and then die cut them. I adhered the bouquet, partially  inside the pocket, and some outside. I then added a sticker sentiment in Hebrew (which says 'Ecpecially for You'), and my card is done!

It also goes for the 'tri-fold challenge' at Just Us Girls #630:

Here's the card when it's open:

A Happy Birthday card

Happy Friday to all!

Today I would like to share a CAS birthday card I made for some challenges.

I used the sketch from Global Design Project:

For the rectangle I used a textured navy blue cs and die cut the shape.

I fussy cut the flowers with the leaves from an AltairArt dp, backed it on another die cut, this time scalloped edges, cut from an experiment water color paper in raspberry color.

I stamped the sentiment in raspberry jam ink and mounted it on the navy blue cs.

The colors are from CAS Colours & Sketches:

And it also goes for The Paper Players - birthday:

Live, Love, Laugh - a CAS card

Hello dear friends!

Today I would like to share with you a CAS card I've made, inspired by two challenges:

CAS on Friday - circles

Global Design Porject - color challenge, which asked for red, sahara sand and black:

I kept my card very simple - scored vertical lines to give a little frame, I die cut the circles (Memory Box) twice - one in black and one in red, and then I used the black circle frames and added the red insides, here and there.

I used TH chitchat words for my sentiment, adhered to the same cs I used for the base (can you see it has a little shimmer on it?).

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much!
