 A summer lo I've made, with a photo of my boys that I took just two weeks ago, when we had a lovely afternoon at the beach. We stayed there till sunset, eat our dinner there and came back home in darkness. We do it very often on Summer, it's a wonderful way to spend the hot hours. 

My journlaing is about it - "At the beach, till the end of the day, till sunset; towels and clothses in the bag; food for dinner in the picnik cooler".

For my inspiration I had case file #33 at CSI:

My 'clues' to solve the case were: for the evidence - wood/woodgrain (background dp and buttons), clouds, white background, bircks, transparent element (the white date on the right side of the photo), metal and nautical elemet (the starfish trinket on the doily); for the eviedence - my journaling is in 3 strips.

Another inspiration came from the word inspired challenge blog - Bird is the Word - whith the word "Shadow" for inspiration.

דף חדש שהכנתי, עם תמונה של הבנים שלי בחוף הים, תמונה שצולמה לפני שבועיים בחוף פלמחים בשעת השקיעה. בילוי של אחה"צ בחוף הים, עד סוף היום והשקיעה, הוא בילוי נפלא לשעות החמות של אחה"צ. לוקחים צידנית עם אוכל לארוחת הערב, ונשארים עד השקיעה וחוזרים הביתה בחשיכה.
הדף הוכן עם השראה של 4 אתגרים - לצבעים, אלמנטים, מילת השראה וסקיצה. 
אחד מהאתגרים הוא בבלוג אתגרים ישראלי חדש - סברס סקראפ, והאתגר הפעם היה משהו ימי, עם תוספת של קישוט בהכנה עצמית - שניים מהקישוטים שלי הוכנו על ידי: מפית הקרושה הקטנה והעננים (והנה הדרכה קלילה על איך להכין עננים כאלו).

DIY - paper clouds with flower punch הדרכה מצולמת - עננים מפאנצ' פרח

I have a very simple tutorial to share with you,  how I make paper clouds using a flower punch. It's super easy.

בחום הזה, כשממילא אין סבלנות לפרוייקטים מסובכים, הנה הדרכה קלה וקלילה להכנת עננים בעזרת פאנץ' פרח.

You'll need:

cs scraps (I usually use white cs, but you cand create your clouds from any other cs or dp. you can see an example of clouds from dp in my August 2012 Couonterfeit Kit).

a flower punch

scissors

any kind of adhesive you use

optional - ink, distress ink, glimmer mist, etc.

חומרים:

שאריות של קארדסטוק. אני משתמשת בד"כ בקארדסטוק לבן, אבל אפשר, כמובן, להכין את העננים מכל קארדסטוק וגם מניירות מדוגמים. דוגמא לעננים מנייר מדוגם יש בקיט החיקוי שלי של חודש אוגוסט 2012.

פאנץ' בצורת פרח (לא חייב להיות עם 5 עלי כותרת, יכול גם 6).

מספרים.

דבק.

Step 1:

Punch out a few pieces with the flower punch. they don't have to be full flower, cause you'll be cutting it into a cloud shape.

שלב 1:

לפאנצ'ץ' כמה חתיכות עם פאנץ' הפרח. אין הכרח לפאנצ'ץ' את הצורה השלמה, כי ממילא נחתוך אותה לצורת ענן.

Step 2: 

Cut each piece to a cloud shape. cut the flower in the petals and not between them.

שלב 2:

לחתוך כל חתיכה לצורה של ענן. הרעיון הוא לחתוך בתוך עלה הכותרת ולא ברווח שבין שני עלי כותרת, וכך עד לצד השני.

Step 3:

Put one piece on another, so they ovelap a little. this way your cloud will look more fluffy. adhere the two pieces.

שלב 3:

להניח חתיכה אחת על גבי חתיכה אחרת, באופן שישנה חפיפה חלקית ביניהן. זה מה שנותן ל'ענן' את המראה התפוח והצמרירי שלו. הדביקו את החתיכות.

That it! you've got your clouds:

זהו! יש לכן עננים צמריריים לתפארת. אני רציתי לתת גוון תכלת קל לעננים שלי, אז עברתי עליהם בעדינות עם דיו פיגמנטי בגוון תכלת בהיר. הקארדסטוק הלבן בו השתמשתי היה שארית של פרוייקט שעבדתי עם גלימר מיסט כחלחל, כך שלכתחילה היו התזות של גלימר על הדף.

I wanted my cluods to have some pale blue color on them, so I gently inked them with a pigment ink. the white cs scrap I used was a left over from a project I've made with glimmer mist, so I already had mist on it.

Scrapping Everyday Miracles

We're on the middle of our summer vacation, and that means that I have very little time for scrapping... but we're having a real great vacation, going to museums, having old friends visiting us, playing at the pool and relaxing at the beach. 

Spkeaking of the beach, I have a few layout with photo from the beach to share with you. Today I'll share with you the 1st one.

The photo is of my boys, 4 months ago, when we actually opened our bathing season, on our Passover vacaion. They just love to jump at the waves :).

Some of the materials are from my August Counterfeit Kit - the accordion flower, the kraft stars, the MME strips and sticker for the title, so it's #4 lo with this kit.

I used August sketch from C'est Magnifique, drawn by Nadia Cannizzo, but I turned it, cause I liked it more in the horizontal design:

I've made it with the inspiration of case file #32 from CSI:

The 'clues' I've used to solve the case are: 

For the evidence: stars - I used kraft stars I cut from a Jillibean Soup dp, and I used the frame of the left over to make another stars, with cs and vellum to fill up the gaps. I also used some starfish trinkets and star beads; my translucents items are the vellum, the white mesh for the matting and the star beads; the wet medium for me is the glimmer mist I used to color the gauze, and I really love the airy feeling it gives to the lo; I used vellum not only for the stars, but also as the main horizontal strip, and I used MS border punch on it; dots - with mask (the light blue in the background) and rub-ons (the dark brown); I also used mesh and gauze.

For the matting of the photo I've created kind of a 'window' from corrugated cardboard, and  I soften the inside edges with white acrylic paint (another wet medium I've used).

I was really inspired by the 'treasure' theme of the case, so I've added some pearls, beads and rhinestones to complete the look. oh, did you see the little seahorse trinket on the right side of the photo? can anyone tell what movie I just saw with the kids?....

For the testimony: my journaling is about our beach trip. 

I would like to enter it also for Scrapping Evereyday Miracles, which asked for favorite vacaion plus using a mask (I used a Crafter's Workshop circles mask).

אנחנו בעיצומה של חופשת הקיץ המשותפת שלנו, וזה אומר עוד פחות זמן לסקראפ מהרגיל... בקייטנת אמא יש פעילות בכל יום, ובסה"כ הזמן עובר עלינו בנעימים. הסופ"ש הזה היה בסימן של העדר פעילות מתוכננת, וכך נמצא לו גם הזמן להכין דף אלבום נוסף. ברוח הקיץ, השתמשתי בתמונה של הבנים משתעשעים בים, רק שזה היה בתחילת העונה, בחופשת הקיץ. הים היה אז סוער למדי, אבל לשמחתי הילדים שלי היו מאד זהירים ולא נכנסו מעבר לקו המותניים, כפי שאפשר גם לראות בתמונה.

חלק מהחומרים בדף הזה נלקחו מקיט החיקוי של חודש אוגוסט (פרח המניפה, הכפתורים, הקארדסטוק הלבן, הדוילי והכוכבים מקראפט. גם הרצועות האופקיות מהדפים המדוגמים, כמו גם הכותרת, הם מאותו קיט - תוצרת MME). 

הקישוטים בחום כהה הם מדף ראב-אונים בו זכיתי לפני כמה חודשים. השתמשתי בדף וולום כחול, גם לרצועה האופקית הרחבה, שפינצ'צ'תי עם בורדר פאנצ' של מרתה סטיוארט ,וגם כמילוי לכוכבים מקראפט. המסגרת שלהם היא בעצם השארית של חיתוך הכוכבים עצמם - ניצול שאריות במיטבו, או פינת החסכן במיטבה :). 

כשכבה ראשונה הנחתי תחבושת צבועה עם גלימר מיסט. אני אוהבת את המראה האוורירי שהתחבושת הצבועה נותנת לדף כולו.

כמאטינג לתמונה השתמשתי בקרטון גלי, אלא שהפעם בשונה מהרגיל, את התמונה הנחתי מתחת לקרטון ויצרתי בו 'חלון', שאת שוליו הפנימיים 'לכלכתי' בצבע אקרילי לבן. בין הקרטון הגלי לתחבושת ולדף הוולום, הנחתי גם דף של רשת לבנה עדינה מאד, עם זריקות של צבע עליה.

ההשראה לדף הייתה מ-CSI. שילוב הצבעים הפעם הוא אחד מהאהובים עלי ביותר - גווני כחול עם גוונים של חום וקראפט בהיר. האווירה באתגר הייתה קצת של 'אוצר', או לפחות זו הייתה האווירה שאני חשתי, אז הוספתי גם כמה פנינים, אבני חן וחרוזים - כדי לדמות את האוצרות שנשפכים מתיבת אוצר שנפתחה בלב הים. הוספתי גם תליוני מתכת של כוכבי ים וסוסון ים, להשלמת האווירה הימית. ברקע גם עבדתי עם מסיכה של עיגולים ודיו תכלת בהיר.

אני אוהבת את התמונה ואת הדף שיצא. מה דעתכן? אשמח לקרוא תגובות :).

First Tasting

#1 mini challenge at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog is a very easy one - just enter an online challenge.

My #3 lo with August Counterfeit Kit, with a photo of my youngest, when he was about 6 months, tasting solid foods and starting eating on his own.

All dp are October Afternoon and so is also the red lace ribbon.

הדף הראשון שלי מקיט החיקוי של חודש אוגוסט בבלוג של Counterfeit Kit Challenge, לאתגר הראשון בבלוג, והפעם אתגר קליל ביותר - פשוט להשתתף באתגר שהוא און-ליין.

התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים, כשהיה כבן 6 חודשים, והחל בטעימות הראשונות של מזון מוצק.

כל הדפים המדוגמים הם של October Afternoon, וכך גם סרט התחרה האדום. האותיות הן של 'תוצרת הארץ'.

Cousins & Friends (a lo) and CKC add-on kit

This is my #2 lo with my August Counterfeit Kit, and I mixed between the main kit and the add-on kit (and just realized that I didn't post my add-on kit.. there's a photo at the end of this post).

The photo is of my boys with their cousins. they're all the same ages, more or less, and they're really good friends.

I used July 20th sketch from BoysRule (I just love their sketches!):

The kraft cardstock is actually B side of a Jillibean Soup's kraft plus stars cs. I cut parts of that cs, where I put the other dp, and used them to fussy cut some stars for embellishments. The other dp and the alphas are also Jillibean Soup, and so are the stickers. The ric-rac trim, the journaling block and the buttons are from my stash.

I think this lo is one of my most 'boyish' layouts :), and I really love how it turned out. what do you think?

דף שני מקיט החיקוי של חודש אוגוסט, כשהשתמשתי בחומרים מהקיט העיקרי ומקיט התוספות שהכנתי. קארדסטוק הבסיס הוא למעשה הצד השני של קארדסטוק קראפט עם כוכבים של Jillibean Soup. הניירות המדוגמים, הסטיקרים והאותיות - גם הם של Jillibean Soup. 

פינת החסכן כיכבה גם כאן. את החלקים בקארדסטוק קראפט, שמצויים מתחת לדף המדוגם עם העיגולים, חתכתי. מאחר שבצד הראשי יש כוכבים, חתכתי בעדינות כמה מהם, והדבקתי עם דבק תלת-מימד כחלק מהקישוטים.

התמונות הן של הבנים שלי, עם בני הדודים שלהם. הם באותם גילאים, פלוס מינוס, והם ממש חברים טובים. התמונות צולמו לפני כ-5 שנים בגבעת הרקפות ליד קיבוץ גלעד.

בלוג אתגרים ישראלי חדש זו סיבה למסיבה ואם האתגר הראשון הוא אתגר סקיצה, אז זו סיבה כפולה ומכופלת :).

'יוצאות מהקווים' העלו את האתגר הראשון שלהן, עם סקיצה מרובת שכבות, כשהשכבות בהטייה לצדדים. ממש כמו שאני אוהבת.  הנה הסקיצה:

המשכתי עם האלכסוניות, וגם את הקארדסטוק הלבן לבסיס חתכתי כך שיהיה אם אלכסונים ביחס למסגרת הקראפט. נותן מראה קצת שובבי לדף.

התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים, כשהיה בן 7 חודשים, בשלב החקרנות הבלתי נלאית, בו האצבעות נדחפות לפה כל הזמן (אגב, הוא עדיין עסוק בפעילות דומה, אבל זה כבר עניין אחר לגמרי  :)))... קוראים לזה רגישות תחושתית, שזה שם יפה יותר לקושי בעיבוד תחושתי).

זה הדף הראשון מקיט החיקוי של חודש אוגוסט, קיט מלא בדפים צבעוניים ושמחים, עם דוגמאות משובצות ושל עיגולים.

הדפים המדוגמים הם של October Afternoon, והרצועות הרוחביות האדומה והצהובה הן של Cosmo Cricket. 

את הרצועה עם ה'חיצים', כמו גם את המסיכה באותה דוגמא, עשיתי בעצמי. עושה רושם שדוגמאות חיצים הם הטרנד החם החדש בעולם הסקראפ, אחרי וביחד עם טרנד הזיגזגים.

המדבקה העגולה בפינה השמאלית של התמונה היא של lilybee design, שהדבקתי על קארדסטוק והגבהתי עם דבק תלת-מימד. קצת השפרצה של גלימר מיסט, וחותמת בתוכה רשמתי את התאריך, והדף העליז מוכן.

הנה כמה תקריבים:

אז מי מצטרפת לחגיגה של צבעים ודוגמאות עם קיט החיקוי החודש? אפשר להכין גם קיט קטן ולא עמוס, ולהשתמש בחומרים שיש כבר בבית. לא לרוץ לקנות משהו חדש...

Happy Summer Days - August Counterfeit Kit blog hop

Welcome to August Counterfeit Kit blog hop!

This month we have Lynnette as our Guest Designer! 

We are doing something a litle different this time - our inspiration kit to counterfeit is a digital one. It called 'Summer Lovin' by Chelle's Creations from ScrapOrchard.

Here's a photo of the inspiration kit:

I wss drawn to the colors, primer colors of blue, red, yellow, with grey and green. That was my starting point to counterfeit the kit. I was also inspired by the patterns of gingham, ric-rac and circles.

 I named my kit 'Happy Summer Days'. My embellishments include lots of stitched ribbons, ric-rac ribbons, lace and baker's twine. I also put some gingham ribbons and stirped ribbons. I've made some rosettes and added some borders I've made from my scrap box.
Next I threw to the pile some brads, stickers and alphas (I will probably add alphas, cause I run out of red ones and I will get some in a few days). Some journaling blocks, tags, tickets and die-cuts - and my kit is ready!

I didn't put flowers in my kit this time, but I will use them, no doubts. I will probably make a few flowers while working on my lo.

לחודש אוגוסט, בבלוג של קיט החיקוי אנחנו עושות משהו שונה במקצת. הפעם קיט ההשראה הוא קיט דיגיטלי. מאחר שלא היה בכוונתי לחקות את הקיט אחד לאחד, התמקדתי בהשראה שקיבלתי מהצבעים העליזים ומהדוגמאות של עיגולים וזיגזגים.

בחרתי דפים מדוגמים בצבעים ובדגמים שהתאימו לי לרוח קיט ההשראה, הוספתי 6 קארדסטוקים בגוונים תואמים.

הקישוטים שלי מכילים חיתוכים וקוביות כיתוב, בורדרים, סטיקרים, בראדים, כפתורים, סרטים (הרבה...), ופרחי מניפה שהכנתי משאריות דפים. בענייני האותיות הקיט כרגע די חסר, אבל יהיו השלמות תוך כדי תנועה....

עכשיו רק נשאר לי לקוות שאחרי תקופה מאד מאד לחוצה שהייתה לי לאחרונה, סוף סוף מגיעה קצת מנוחה ושלווה, ויתאפשר לי ליצור עם הקיט העליז הזה.
