My Soul Mate Reflection

edit:
This card won Top 3 on Pick 3 Stamping vacation!
The challenge on day 313 at 365 cards was reflection: The challenge is to use a stamp to created a reflection of an image on your card. You can keep it simple or embellish the card further if you wish. O.K., I know that Pam wanted us to do what I did with the little bear, but still I just couldn't let the whole week to pass with no cheating at all...LOL. I also received some comments urging to do some cheating, so I used these two digi stamps from my grafico (freebie!) to create the reflection look. and I just wanted to let you know that I do understand what the rule was, so I added the real reflection image I made.. I didn't find the right place for it, yet
The 3 hearts on the left are simple doodles (did you see the new release? awesome! you don't want to miss that, and the {heart} challenge there!)
and it goes for the following challenges:
reflection - day 313 365 cards
pick 3 - theme - stamping vacation (my theme is love and to followe this theme I used images, color of pp, and the sentiment)

L for layering - abc
any digi + more challenges - #29 pile it on
ink - frosted designs ( I used ink for distressing the sentiment).

Crochet thanks

Today's challenge on 365 cards was braiding:
All you have to do is incorporate the braiding of ribbon, floss, wire - whatever you can think of - and add it to your card I made this crochet thread and used it as a ribbon.
I used grid technique on the cs with gold ink (Pam, here's an idea for "a technique challenge"... LOL), added 'thanks' sticker, and that's it. clean & simple (and quick :))
and it goes with the following challenges:
also clean & simple - occ
ink challenge - frosted designs

The challenge for today on 365 cards was find a substitute - to substitute a ward with an image. So I took the bee image I just got from simple doodles, as part of their new release (on Jan. 7th!!!) and gathered it with the word "MINE", and now I have the whole sentiment...
I saw the color combo on Colour Q, and what can I say? this is such a gorgeous color combo! I think I'll play with them this week. I just {heart} this combo.

Take 5... and Dream

"There must be 5 different elements on your card (examples: patterned paper, rhinestones, ribbon, decorative stamps, etc). And there must be 5 of each element on the card. The one exception to this rule is the sentiment"

That's how we started the new year.... at least on 365 cards.... LOL

I didn't drink on new year's eve, but sure enough Pam's challenge gave me one big headache. I'm not sure whether I like the outcome or not, but that's the best I could get at this point (you know, my mojo tend to come days or weeks after the challenge has expired... LOL)

so what have we got here?

5 golden flourish rab-ons

5 green buttons

5 stars

5 golden ribbon flowers

5 times the sentiment (and the sentiment itself assembled from 5 letters...)

the sketch is out of my aching head (for the next time Pam will say: do it yourself sketch....).

so it goes with 5 to friday on 365 cards and the color combo of purple, green & gold on #35 gingersnap.

buttons - #52 crafty pad; practical scrappers

that's it.

as always, thank you once againg that you pop here and took a look at my card.

An every purpose CAS card

For today, Pam asked us to stamp............. a ribbon!
looking at the chat box on 365 cards shoed me I'm not the only one having hard time with this challenge...
I really tried, I just don't have the proper tools/materials. all my ink is pigment and it just smeared all over the ribbon and I'm not going to bring you some smeared ribbon here!
so I took 'pre-stamped' ribbon. and no, this is no cheating. one might say this is a rebel!
But something good came out of it, actually 3 good things: first, once again I was digging in my forgotten stash. second, it took me 15 minutes to make this card (the bow is a faux one... this way you can save a little... LOL), and third - now I have an every purpose card (Pam, I can also use this card to your next "keep it to yourself" challenge... any theme inside the card is good... LOL).
now the only problem left to deal with is this 5 to 5 challenge...

stampin' Saturday - day 308 at 365 cards

clean & simple - our creative corner; gingersnap
