Warm Winter Wishes

It has been raining here yesterday quite heavily. I was driving on the highway and I couldn's see ahead. But today the sun shines again :) , but it's cold outsid. We had a lot of traveling this week, so I prefered to stay at home today, put everything in place after this week of vacation, and naturally - some crafting...

And for this cold wheater we have here (relatively... I know some of you are really freezing now...), I made this warm winter wishes card. I've added some blue & gold glitter powder to the cream cs, colored cappuccino Pippin from digital delights (freebie) with wattercolor pencils, and the cup with glitter blue & gold pens and put some white stickles for the cream on top of the cup to get some 3-D efect.

I printed the sentiment, drew the faux stitches with white pen, and put some gold stickles on the scalloped blue circle and on the "w" of the sentiment (it was a perfect swirls for that!). an organza ribbon (the bow is faux, it's much easier that way...)

Isn't Pippin so so cute?

Home, sweet home

Maybe I was envied with Rose, for taking a pre-made tag for day 291 at 365 cards - the card recipe, and perhaps I was realizing that I just worked too hard making my own tag, when I just had a perfect pre-made one.. I discovered it when I looked for a chipboard for day 290 challenge, and I just couldn't resist to upgrade it so it'll fit the day 291 challenge... (what is it I have with "couldn't resist it"?.... LOL)

So I added more rhinestones (the origin had only 3 of them - the small ones), the buttons and the pink ribbon, and there it is, all fit to the day 291 challenge (almost ~all~ fits... the pink bird and the pp of the tree - O.K. so I cheated just a little, bye bye halo...)

A quick & easy birthday card

The chellenge at 365 cards of Tuesday's Trio was to use: Chipboard (anything that's chipboard-based) - Blossom - Button-You can use any quantity of these 3 things as long as there is at least one of each on your card.

Pam said nothing about ~separate~ ingredients... and I just couldn't resist using this chipboard that combine all of them! LOL and no cheating this time (hello dear halo...).

I stamped the swirls and the flowers and adhered pearls & rhinestones.

I've made this card so quickly, that I even didn't look for a sketch challenge .

Now, how is that for some inspiration? we had a great vacation and had a wonderful time together.

and just to remember what is really important in life, today's challenge at 365 cards gave me the oportunity to make this "love you" tag...

and this time I just followed the rules very strictly - 1 gift tag, 1 ribbon, 8 rhinestones, 1 sentiment (rub-ons), 1 piece of pp (the whole tag), 2 buttons. I didn't stamped, and didn't add any other embellishments.

חנוכה, חנוכה, חג עליז כל כך! Happy Hanukkah

אחד ממינהגי החג האהובים עלי (בילדות יותר, כיום פחות :-)), הוא דמי החנוכה.

הילדים שלי מחכים כבר לדמי החנוכה כל כך, לדעתי כבר מראש השנה....

אז לכבוד המאורע החגיגי, הם הכינו קופסאות חסכון לאיסוף דמי החנוכה שיקבלו, ואז ירוצו בחדווה לחנות הצעצועים הקרובה לקנות לעצמם את שחשקה נפשם.

One of the most cheeful customs of Hanukkah is giving money to the children. It called "Hanukkah's money".

My kids are waiting for their hanukkah's money probably from the Jewish New Year (three months ago...).

So for the "lots of money" they'll get (as they think....we don't give so much...), they made these lovely saving boxes.

It's all about stamping... , that's what Pam said. Well, almost "all"... I added the metal flowers and some sparkling glitter. I just couldn't help it. Gloria & Rose - there goes my halo... LOL

Anyway, the cream cs was stamped with flourish stamp I just received as a prize, the sentiment is one of the freebies at Simple Doodles (I'm going to be one of their GDT on January!), the image - Pippin - is a prize I won from Digital Delights (go and look at envelope pippin - it's freebie for this week! I already grabed him... ), and the white cs was stamped also. like I said - almost all elements are stamped...

I colored pippin's hat with glitter blue pen and added white stikkles to get the 3-D effect.

Because of the colors I used for pippin, it was almost unseen, so I added the frame and 3-d adhersive, I hope it works.

A dove with an olive leaf is a universal symbol, relevant to each one of us. When Pam asked for some peace... I'm more than pleased to give it to her (and to anyone else who wishes for some peace).

I don't think I ever done a card so quickly...maybe that's the best way....

There is something about this 'a lot of white space' that makes it harder and easier at the same time. does it make any sense to you? LOL somehow it does to me.
