On Guard! - lo

A photo of my eldest, playing with a wooden sword, about 5.5 years ago.
For this lo I used scraps from different companies (DCWV, LilyBee Design, Cosmo Cricket). The die-cut cs is Studio Calico; the alphas stickers are Fancy Pants, and so are the star stickers above the photo; the numbers are from a local manufacute; I also used a baker's twine.
Here are some close-ups:

For this lo I was inspired by Diana's fab sketch at  workout #63 ScrapFit:
I would like to enter this lo also for these challenges:
numbers - frosted desings
boys and their toys - cupcake craft
boys will be boys - creative craft
use twine - raise the bar
paper tearing - tuesday throwdown
use stickers - scrapbookers anonymous
polkadots & stripes - polka doodles
anything goes - simonsays stamp

The photo I used for this lo was taken on summer 2006. it was sure hot then, but look what we've had yesterday:

Yeh!! we finally had snow here! we rarely have snow here, and it was the first time my kids saw the falling snow. it was so beautiful and we had so much fun. it didn't last long and by afternoon it was all gone, and now it's cold and foggy.
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog! your comments are much appreciated.

snow is over rated, but that is coming from someone who is just getting over a long winter and we get plenty of snow.. =) so I'm not the best person to ask about snow right now.. It is pretty and sometimes I just like to watch snow flakes fall. It can be so peaceful.. Love the layout. love all the paper tearing. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Scrapbookers Anonymous. =)
