Honourable Mention at More Than Words

Today I'm sharing with you a 'Good Luck' card I've made for the mini challenge at More Than Words:
I've used my February Counterfeit mini kit, with 13@rts papers and stickers.
As for the colors, I went again with the Feb colors at Lindy's Gang:
Only this time I went on a softer tones.
I've used:
Embossing powder: Purely White.
And it also goes for the Feb moodboard at Art Playground blog:

Amazing - a mixed media layout

Happy Saturday to you all!
Today I'm sharing with you a mixed media layout I've made for some challenges.

First is the current challenge at 7 Dots Studio blog, with this beautiful moodboard:
When I saw this moodboard, the color combination reminded me the photo I took at Sainte Chapelle cathedral in Paris, with light coming through the stained glasses. I drew some more inspiration from the twinklings, and the photo of the old street (I always think of Paris when I see photos of old streets).
All papers, tags, sticker and die-cuts are 7 Dots Studios.
Next is the current challenge at Mixed Media Place blog, with a quite similar in colors moodboard:
Once again, the colors of purple and teal drew my attention, and also the touch of brown and cream, with twinklings and the stone paved street.
Working with shades of purple and blue/turquoise was perfect for two color challenges.
One is at Lindy's Gang blog:
Although the pallete is quite pastel one, I decided to go on much bolder version of these colors, with the addition of gold.
The Lindy's products I've used are:
Embossing powder - Caesar's Gold.
Love, love, love how they all combined together.
Last, and certainly not least, is the Feb challenge at Art Playground blog, which also combined shades of purple and blue/teal:
As explained it the excellent tip on this blog, it is very important to add different shapes to your creation, to make it more intersting. One way, which I used here, is working with stencils and modeling paste. The stencil I've used (Magenta) has already different shapes - lines and circles. I used the stencil in the vertical way, the way the windows in the photo go. Then I added more circles with the tags, the gold sequins, the die cuts under the the title and the splatters.

Beautiful Moments - 13@rts + Mixed Media & Art

Hello dear crafting friends, today I'm sharing with you my new layout that I've made for two challenges:
I was inspired by the snowy scene, the woodgrain and the colors.
All papers are from 13@rts - the pp for the basis is from Untill Dawn collection and the layers under the photo is from 6x6 pad 'Vintage Moments'.
I've also used their mask (stirp mesh), white gesso, and stickers.
I was inspired by the colors, especialy the combination of purple, gray and white. I was also inspired by the theme of coolness, and used a snowy photo and tried to mimic the atmosphere with my design.
I used my Feb counterfeit kit - mini kit, using many embellieshments from this mini kit.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

Vintage Winter - Counterfeit Kit Challenge - mini kit

Once again trying the concept of a small kit, a mini kit, that can be used for a layout or two, and maybe a few cards.
Reminder - this is February inspiration kit at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog:
Again, my kit is a little different in colors, but I was inspired by the earthy tones, birds &feathers and woodgrain.
Like the inspiration kit, the papers in my mini kit are all from the same manufacturer - 13@rts. I've also included some 13@rts' stickers, which are not in the photos.
For my embellishments, I added lots of flowers, enamel dots, dew drops, ribbons and lace.

I counterfeited the feathers in different ways - some were made with a stencil and inks, and some were made using dies. I also stamped birds and fussy cut them.
Here is my counterfeited embellies:
I hope to be able to use this mini kit pretty soon, so stay tuned...
Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated.

Love Every Moment - CSI case file no. 273

I've made this layout for Case file no. 273 at CSI, which is a girly one, full of pink colors:
I used my Feb counterfeit page kit for this layout. All the papers I've used are from Lemoncraft (Heart Painted collection and House of Roses collection). the embellies are a 'mix&match' from my stash.
I was inspired by sketh #359 at Sketches in Thyme:
Here're some close-ups:

I would like to enter it also to Feb challenge at 'Challenge YOUrself', which is to be inspired by a movie and include a photo of yourself. My inspiration was 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame", one of my all time fav movie.
It also goes for the Lemoncraft FB challenge 'Love is in the Air':

Vintage Love - February Counterfiet Kit

I wasn't sure how much scrappy time I would have thin month, but still wanted to play with Counterfiet Kit Challenge, so instead of making a huge counterfeit kit (like I do usually), I went on the concept of a 'page kit'.
The inspiration kit is based on Kaisercraft's 'Anthology' collection. My kit is far away with it's colors, but I was inspired by the vintage feeling, the woodgrain pattern and the floral pattern. I also went on the concept of using one company's papers, so all my papers are from Lemoncraft. The embellishments, however, are a 'mix&match' from my stash.
And so I give you 'Vintage Love':

I've already made a layout from this page kit, and I'm planning on making some cards or a mini mini album from the leftovers.
I will be posting the layout I've made pretty soon, so stay tuned...
