A flower from cans' lids - a tutorial פרח מלשוניות של פחיות שתיה - הדרכה מצולמת

I would like to share with you a cool technique I learned from a friend at work, a creative use of cans' lids. My friend uses them to make awesome jewleries, but I'd like to show you how to make this gorgeous flower. This tutorial of mine was posted on Frosted Designs.

You'll need:

8 cans' lids

embroidery thread (of any other thread that you choose to work with)

crochet hook

Step 1:

Place one lid on top of the other, so it overlaps one of the holes.

Step 2:

Join the two tabs, working  sc through both of them (it doesn't matter how many sc you make, and it's really up to you to decide).

Step 3:

Place another tab and join it the same way, workin sc through the holes.

Step 4:

Work the same way with all the tabs, so you'll get a row of joined tabs:

Step 5:

Join the row into a circle, working sc:

Step 6:

Work 1-2 sc at the first holes, to give strength to the circle.

That's it! you've got your flower done:

You can leave it this way, or work sc all around:

You can also leave the joined tabs in a row, and use it as a border, just like I did here:

אני רוצה לשתף אתכן בטכניקה מאד פשוטה וקלה ליצירת פרח מלשוניות של פחיות שתיה. זו טכניקה שלמדתי מחברה לעבודה, אלא שהיא משתמשת בה כדי ליצור תכשיטים יפהפיים, ואני לקחתי את זה לכיוון הסקראפי.

החומרים:

8 לשוניות

חוט רקמה (או כל חוט אחר שמתאים לכן לעבוד איתו)

מסרגת קרושה (הגודל בהתאמה לעובי החוט שאתן עובדות איתו, אבל זה לא מאד משנה)

שלב 1:

הניחו לשונית אחת על השניה, באופן שתהיה חפיפה בין שני חורים:

שלב 2:

חברו את הלשוניות עם חצאי עמודים (זה לא משנה כמה חצאי עמודים - כמה שמתאים לכן לעשות):

שלב 3:

צרפו לשונית נוספת וחברו אותה לקודמת באותו אופן:

שלב 4:

עבדו באותו אופן עם כל הלשוניות, כך שתתקבל רצועה/שורה:

שלב 5:

חברו את קצות השורה אחד לשני, כך שייווצר עיגול, באמצעות חצאי עמודים:

שלב 6:

עבדו עם 1-2 חצאי עמודים בחור הראשון, כדי לחזק את העיגול:

זהו! הפרח שלכן מוכן!

אפשר להשאיר אותו כך, או לסרוג חצאי עמודים מסביב:

אפשר גם להשאיר את השורה מבלי להפוך אותה לעיגול, ולהשתמש כקישוט של בורדר:

הפרח שבתמונה שבראש הפוסט - חלק מדף מעוצב אותו אעלה ביום חמישי.

My Big Brother - lo

The big flower was made by me, and it's actually done using used cereal box, acrylic paint, glitter powder, diamond glaze, leftover of dp and some gems. In making it, I was inspired by this tutorial by Crafty Fairy. Here's a close-up on the flower:

את הפרח הגדול הכנתי בהשראה של הדרכה שהעלתה פיית מרציפן על הכנת קישוטים מצ'יפבורדים. אני הכנתי לא משארית של צ'יפבורד שלא משרבוט חופשי של פרח על קרטון של קורנפלקס, אבל העיקרון זהה.

you should know by now that I'm an addict of selfmade flowers, especially 'no tools' flowers. and if I make them out of real scraps or recycle something, then I'm more than pleased. I made these flowers out of used dryer sheet. the texture of the used sheets gives the flower a special look and touch, and also some smell...:)

אני מאד אוהבת פרחים עבודת יד, עשויים עצמאית. אם גם אפשר להכין אותם משאריות או למחזר חומרים, אז השמחה כפולה. את הפרחים שבתמונה הכנתי מדפים משומשים של מייבש כביסה :). המרקם של הדפים המשומשים מעניק לפרח מראה ומגע מיוחדים, וכמובן גם ריח :)

I received lovely comments on my dryer sheet flowers,that I used in this card, so I'm posting this tutorial on how to make those flowers. It's not that I 've done something nobody have done before, but just for those of you who never crossed this technique and wish to know it & use it.

You'll need:

used dryer sheet

ink (whatever color you wish. I love to take two different colors) adhesive

scissors (I use nails scissors)

sponge

embellishments (buttons, rhinestones, flowers, etc.)

החומרים הדרושים:

דף משומש של מייבש כביסה דיו - בכל צבע שתבחרי כמתאים (אני מעדיפה להשתמש בשני צבעים שונים). דבק מספרים (אני משתמש במספרים של ציפורניים, בעלי קצה מעוגל) קישוטים (כפתורים, אבני חן, פרחים קנויים וכו') ספוגית לדיו

instructions:

fold the dryer sheet into 4.

הוראות:

קפלי את דף המייבש ל-4

draw 2 sizes of circles

ציירי עיגולים בשני גדלים

cut the circles (you can also cut the circles without first drawing - in free hand. it doesn't matter if the cutting is not perfect).

חתכי את העיגולים (אפשר גם לחתוך בלי לצייר לכתחילה - חיתוך חופשי - ממילא לא חייבים שהחיתוך יהיה מושלם)

You should have 8 circles - 4 of each size.

צריכים להיות לך 8 עיגולים - 4 מכל גודל.

Ink the circles with the sponge (I used blue & green on this flower)

החתימי עם הספוגית בדיו את העיגולים (אני השתמשתי בכחול וירוק בפרח הזה).

you may crumple the circles.

אפשר לקמט ולכווצ'ץ' את העיגולים ואח"כ לפתוח אותם בעדינות.

adhere the circles one on top of the other.

הדביקי את העיגולים אחד על גבי השני.

decorate with a rhinestone

אפשר לקשט באבן חן

or with a button

או עם כפתור

or with a bought flower (fabric, plastic,felt - anything you wish), and stickles on the petals.

עם פרח קנוי (בד, פלסיק, לבד - כל מה שנראה לכם) ולקשט את עלי הכותרת בסטיקלס למראה זוהר ואלגנטי.

And that's it! so simple and so elegant.

כל כך פשוט, ונותן אפקט כל כך אלגנטי.
