A card - Birthday Wishes

My cards box got quite empty, so I decided to make some cards to re-fill it.
This is one of the cards I've made, using Maja Design papers (Vintage Romance + Vintage Autumn collections).
I don't use purple very often, as a matter of fact - I hardly use it, but I was so inspired by the current moodboard at Maja Design, so I had to give it a try. Here's the Maja Design moodboard:
I've added some velum, on one of the layers of pp and wrapped the sentiment with the vellum, which made it muted a little.
The I am Roses flowers were colored with Lindy's Gang spray - Pop Rock Purple, and so was the stars chipboard (Scrapiniec). After I colored the chipboard with the spray, I heat embossed it with Lindy's embossing powder - Silver Moon Sapphire. I love how it turned out.
I've layered the flowers on some lace leaves and then added some splatters with Lindy's purple spray and with the Creme Brulee Cream spray.
The final touches were adding purploe glitter to the lady's hat, to the flowers and here and there on the pp, then some Robin's Nest purple mini Dew Drops, and my card is done!
Here're some close-ups:

I'm entering this card to the following challenges:
Maja Designs - January moodboard
More Than Words - mini challenge - 'wish'

January IAR challenge - anything goes
I was attracted to the celebration theme on this moodboard.

A DIY masculine desk organizer

Happy Saturday crafty friends,
I'm sharing a DIY masculine desk organizer I've made from scratch.
I builed it from a very heavy dark brown cardstock, coverd with pp from Conquest of Paradise collection by Galeria Papieru.
Since it was a gift for a male co-worker, I decorated it with geers dies (Tim Holtz Sizzix and Memory Box). I coverd some of the gears die cuts with Lindy's Gang sprays and embossing powders, and so was the 'with love' die cut.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

I also made a small memo papers box, and here's the whole set, with the card attached, already on my friend's desk:
(yes, I couldn't resist adding another small geer to the organizer... LOL)

A girly mini album

Hello crafty friends, today I'd like to share with you a girly mini albume I've made for a friend.
It measures 6.5" by 6.5" and the pages inside are 6" by 6".
It has many flaps and pockets, and can hold more than 50 photos!
I've made it out of scratch, using very thick chipboards for the cover, and heavy cardstocks for the basis of the pages.
I've used mostly the Vintage Bliss 6x6 pad by Simple Stories, adding a few other pp from my stash.
Each page opens twice on one side and has a large pocket to hold a booklet.
Here are some close-ups:

I would like to enter it to the following challenges:
Simonsays Monday challenge - tag it! (there are lots of tags in this mini album)
Simonsays Wednesday challenge - layer it up (lots of layers in this album)
Country View challenges - anything goes

@ Wonderland - Jan 15th reveal at Stuck?! Sketches plus CSI case file no. 246

Hello to you dear crafty friends!
Today it's reveal day both at Stuck?! Sketches and at CSI, and I'd like to share with you my layout for these two challenges.
Here's Laura beautiful sketch from Stuck?! Sketches:
And Here's the case file 246 from CSI:
I went on the traditional way, with the clues. I used all 5 colors from the scheme and my clues were: solid white background, stripes, floral pattern, swirls (on the tag), hearts, flowers, doily, lace, bordr punch, tags, keys, clocks, script stamp, labels, monograms letters.
I was inspired by the Alice in Wonderland theme from the inspiration photo, and used a photo of my boys at the labyrinth at Disneyland Paris. My journaling in in the hidden tag, attached to the papers with a paper clip.

Add some color to this black and white world - Stuck?! Sketches Jan 1st reveal

Happy New Year to you and welcome 2018!

And what a wonderful way to start this year with a new sketch at Stuck?! Sketches:
I must admit I struggled with this one. It took me long time to realize what I want to do with it, but eventually I decided to make a colorful layout, no mixed media, just 'Add some color to this Black & White world'.
The photos were taken at the Stravinsky Fountain in Paris.
I used papers from Echo Park 'Little Man' collection, and some papers from 'Dots & Stripes' collection.
Here are some close-ups:

I would like to enter it to the 'Anything Goes' challenge at SimonSays Wednesday challenge.

Happy Moments - CSI Jan 1st reveal, with 7 Dots Studio and Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hello  dear crafty friends,
This is my DT layout for case no. 245 at CSI.

Starting this month, you can either go with the photo prompts, the clues, or you can go freestyle and just use the photo as your inspiration anyway you like it.
I went with the clues...
I used all 5 colors, and the clues I've used are banners, triangles and distressing. I also documented a winter activity, and my journaling says: "We've been waiting for the snow to come for a very long time, and when it came, it came in a huge storm. Despite the freezing cold outside, you couldn't stop playing and enjoying in the snow. December 2013."
The background paper is Graphic 45, and the banners are 7 Dots Studio, and so is the small sentiment.
I would like to enter this layout to the current challenge at 7 Dots Studio, which is to use 3 colors. I worked with blue, yellow and green, along with neutrals of black and white.
I also used Finnabair art basic products (white gesso, modeling paste and gel medium), and Lindy's Gang products (sprays: TiffanyLoo Blue, Afternoon Delight Denim, Green with envy, Tawny Turquoise, Silent nieght silver and Summer loving sun. embossing powders: Tannenbaum Green Gold and King Midas Gold).
Flowers are from Prima, I am Roses and from my stash.
Here are some close ups on the details:
