Together is a beautiful place to be - a layout for MTW and 7 Dots Studio

Honourable mention

On the last day of 2017, I managed to finish a layout for the current challenge at More Than Words, which is 'Family and Numbers'.
I've been wanting to join this challenge ever since it was posted, but couldn't find the time at this busy time of the year, but finally on this weekend I got to make it.
I used one of my  fav photos of us, on our journey to Paris, almost 2 years ago.
I was also inpired by the current challenge at 7 Dots Stodio, which asked to use 3 colors.
I went with one of my fav color combo - blue, brown and cream.
All the papers are from 7 Dots Studio, and I also used their stamps and die-cuts (with the numbers...).
For the numbers theme, I also used a TH stencil - ruller - which has numbers, but it can hardly seen on the background. More numbers are on the vintage clock die cut.
As usuall, I used lots of Lindy's Gang products:
I also used Prima/Finnabair products: clear gesso, crackle modeling paste, soft matte gel, acrylic paint sparks Mermaid Sparkle. I used some of Prima flowers and some of I am Roses.
archival inks - ranger's.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Happy New Year to all, may 2018 will bring you much happiness.

A tag I've made for the mini challengea at More Than Words, which is to make a tag/ a card/ an atc, with the word "US" on it.
I followed December color challenge at Lindy's Gang:
LSG I've used:
I really love the effect of Lindy's ep on modelling paste. it has such a beautiful shimmer look and the texture is superb.

Follow Your Dreams - Maja Design and Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hello crafty friends,

Today I want to share with you a wintery layout I've made for several challenges. I've also made a video tutorial, so make sure you scroll all the way down.
Here are some close-ups:

The inspiration moodboard at Lindy's this month, has two options - one is a traditional Christmas colors, and the other is the combination of blue with either silver or gold.
Blue with gold is very royal, while blue with silver is very wintery. I went on the wintery option, with a photo of my youngest a few years ago, playing in the snow.
Lindy's Gang products that I've used:
embossing powders: cosmic blue violet, desert moon turqouise.

I was also inspired by the moodboard at Maja Design:
Blue, cream, brown is one of my all time fav color combo. I've used papers from the Denim & Friends collection, along with Vintage Romance 6x6 paper pad and Vintage Autumn 6x6 paper pad.
The chipboard frame is Scrapiniec. I would like to enter this lo also for the following challenges:
Mixed Media & Art, with this magical snowy/wintery moodboard:
I was inspired by the snow theme and the colors of white, blue, brown and gray/silver.
Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo, which gave the theme of 'splashes'.
Well, there're lots of splashes on my layout :).
Anything mixed media - Creative Artiste. And the last, but not the least, Creative Embellishments with this wintery moodboard:
I was inspired by the blue color and the snowflakes. The twist was to use a border, so I tore the dark dp diagonally and made a border :).

As promised, here's my tutorial of 'how to' for this layout:
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your comments very much.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Christmas 2017 mini album

Hello crafty friends,

Today I would like to share with you a mini album I've made for my nephew and his wife, to documents the magical moments of the coming Christmas.
I don't have any X-mas papers, so I challenged myself to mix&match papers from my stash, to work with the X-mas colors. For the decoration, I've used stickers, punches and dies. On the front, I decorated with a brad and some fabulous Robin's Nest dew drops.
It measures 5-1/4" by 4-1/2", and it has a cascade on one side and double pocket on the other one, with lots of tags and photo folios.
Here're close-ups:

I would like to enter it to the following challenges:

Anything goes Christmas plus more than one score at Scor-Pal (the pockets and the cascade were made with the help of the scoreboard).
December moodboard at Jot Magazine.
Christmas at Country Vew Challenges.

Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate. Joy and peace to you and your famalies.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.

Happy Hanukkah - Stuck?! Sketches December 15th reveal

Today I want to share with you my DT layout for Stuck?! Sketches mid December reveal.
This is the sketch we've been working with:

It's the middle of Hanukkah, so what is more appropriate to scrap than a Hanukkah Lamp tour we did a few years ago?
Walking through the narrow streets in the old city of Jerusalem, watching the bright and warm candle lights in every window and doorstep, was  really spectacular.
I flipped the sketch upside down, as I didn't want the Christmas tree look for my layout, and this is what I came up with:
In this layout, I tried to catch and mimic the warmth and light, in contradiction to the darkness outside.
I've used Echo Park dp and embellishments, mainly from 'The story of fall' collection. I really love the colors of all fall collections from Echo Park.
For making the golden triangle frame, I worked with modeling paste over TCW stencil, and then I sprinkled Lindy's Gang embossing powder (angel wings gold) and embossed it with a heating gun.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Thank you for visiting my blog and I really appreciate your comments.
I wish all of you happy holidays. May joy and happiness be in your homes and hearts.

Winter is coming - A mixed media layout for Stuck?! Sketches December 1st reveal

Hello dear crafty friends,
Today I want to share with you a mixed media layout I've made for December 1st reveal at Stuck?! Sketches.
It's a mixed media layout, using lots of Lindy's Stamp Gang products and Finnabair's products, along with beautiful papers from 7 Dots Studio and Maja Design.
But first let's have a look at this fab sketch, made by Laura Whitaker:
It's a wonderful sketh to use all those long scraps you have (or cut new ones, like I did...LOL).
And this is my layout:
(spotted at 7 Dots Studio)

You can tell by this layout that I'm a fan of 'Games of Thrones'... so excited for the new season to come (along with the winter...).
Here're some close-ups on the details:

I've made a video showing my creative process:
I'm entering this lo to the current challenge at Mixed Media Place, with this fab moodboard:
I was so facinated by the fantasy feeling of this mood board, with all the green, purple and frosty colors.
