A girly birthday card

Hello dear crafty friends!

Today I would like to share with you a girly cas birthday card I made for several challenges.

I deciede to split the card front by using a lacy stamp, and not using any dp, to make my card as CAS as possible.

I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves, adhered them on the opposite side from what is in the sketche, and added an orange dew drop in the center. I stamped the sentiment by the flower.

I matted the panel with a pink cs and adhered to the white cs basis, and that's it.

I love you card

Featured at Little Red Wagon

A quick card I made for several challenges:

Time Out - 'In love':

The Card Concept - photo inspiration:

I was inspired by the flowers, the b/w strips and some of the colors, to make this clean and layered card.

A CAS birthday card for a teenager

My son needed a birthday card for one of his friends. He specifically said it MUST be simple, no flowers or anything even remotly feminine!

Well, luckily there are web challenges to help a mom meet the criteria ...LOL

Since I was working on a card (HERE) for the current challenge at The Color Throwdown, I continued with the same colors, this time with more bold hues.

CAS Colours & Sketches have a very CAS sketch - it's all about the sentiment:

The Male Room's challenge is 'for a teenager':

I die cut the 'Happy' from yellow and grey cardstocks, and adhered them with a slight shaddow. I then die cut the birthday, actually two dies - background in blueish pp, and the word in green cs.

No embellishments, right?! I punched small stars from the paper I used before, and my card is done.

And my son? He said: "It's okay"...., and off he went to the birthday party...

Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated.

Plants in pots cas birthday card

I really loved the colors of the current challenge at The Color Throwdown

I went on a more subtle hues of these colors.
I followed the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

It also goes for the 'anything goes' challenge at Seize the Birthday :

I die cut a circle aperture in the white cs panel, and I stamped beneth on the white cs basis with a woodgrain stamp in grey.

I stamped the pots in yellow and die cut them, and die cut the plants from a green cs. I cut two thin strips in blue for the 'shelves, and adhered the pots with the plants with foam dots.

I added a very thin strip on the left side of the panel and adhered it to the basis.

I stamped the sentiment with blue ink, die cut along it and adhered it again with foam dots for some dimention.

Inside the card I adhered more stamped and die cut images:

All You Need Is Love - a CAS card

A CAS card I made inspired by two challenges:

I stamped the envelope in pink and lavender, and the sentiment in red. I then mounted the white cs panel on a lavender basis.

An elegant birthday card

The current challenge at Color Throwdown brings a very elegant combination - white, black and gold/silver:

This card was made only with dies. I used the spiral die with gold cardstock, and again with a black one. The gold die cut was matted with the black one, in a way that creates kind of a shaddow.

The same wad done with the 'happy birthday' die, only this time I die cut the sentiment 3 times in gold, and matted it with one layer of the black one.

I added 3 gold sequins for more sparkle, and it also goes for the 'sparkle' challenge at The Paper Players:

The 3rd challenge I would like to enter this card is from Inspire.Create.challenges, with the theme of  'Birthday':

It was brought to my attention, by a virtual friend, that it can also go for the January challenge at Archi-Scraps:
The color combo, along with the motif on the door, wouldn't you say it fits?

Happy Birthday, with a glass of martini, please

Happy New Year to all! may 2022 be a year of health and returning to normal life, without Covid-19 around...

Somehow, I never have enough masculine birthday cards, and I usually find out about it the last minute I really need one!

So to avoid shortage, I decided to make a nice supply of masculine birthday cards.

I went on a cool palette of colors, wintery one, and to cool it even further more - I added a glass of martini... :), isn't that cool?

This martini stamp is from a very old stamp set I have, I even don't remember since when, but I never used the martini one, so it's kind of a new one.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:

Just Us Girls - beverage:

Global Design Project - celebration:

Time Out challenges - new.
