Another Disney colors birthday card

Here's another Disney colors CAS card (you can see the previous one HERE).

This time I punched baloons from  solid cardstocks in aqua, red and yellow colors, following the challenge at The Color Throwdown:

I tied a black/ silver  twine to the balloons.

I added a sicker sentiment and some small stars sentiment, then matted the panel with aqua cs, and adhere it to the black basis.

I would  like to  submit  this card to the following challenges :

Disney colors birthday card - Featured Stamper for The Color Throwdown

I was invited to be a Featured Stamper for The Color Throwdown #694:

I absolutely loved the colors, and they reminded me a Disney theme 😊.

I don't have any fireworks stamp or stencil, so I used some of Kaisercraft ink splashes stamps, using the challenge palette.

I added some  tiny dots from solid cardstocks, in matching colors, and stamped the sentiment in black. I matted the white panel with a grayish blue cs, and adhered it to the yellow  basis.

Sending WAVES of birthday wishes - Guest Designer for More Than Words

Last February I was the winner of the mini challenge at More Than Words challenge blog (you can see my card HERE), so I was very honored when the ladies from MTF asked me to be their Guest Designer for May mini challenge.

The Special Guest post.

The challenge is to use the word 'Wave' on your card, tag or atc.

When I saw Mintay Papers 'Marina' collection in my stash, I just had to use them. Such a beautiful collection!

I went back to my former style of multi layers, vintage and distressed look.

Butterfly birthday wishes card

Featured Stamper

Today's card came together very quickly! I was so inspired by two challenges, and set to make this card.

The colors Barbara gave at The Color Throwdown #692 are: pink, purple, gold and white. Such a beuatiful combination!

Next was the great sketch by Amy, at Freshly Made Sketches #535:

For the focal point I wanted to use one of the butterflies from 'More Brilliant Butterflies' set by My Favorite Things, but I also wanted a circular element, so why not use them both?

I stamped the butterfly in two shades of pink (Ranger's archival ink 'pink peony' and Hero Arts' 'Cotton Candy'), and ink (Hero Arts' 'Passion Flower).

I don't have the co-ordinate dies for this set, so I cut it out with sccisors.

I had a scrap of white/gold pp, so I used it for the large banner. I looked at my washi tapes and found one that was just perfect for the colors - gold and pink. I adhered it on a scrap of white cs, and there's the stripe on the bottom.

The sentiment (Scrapbook.com) was heat embossed with Lindy's Gang 'Oom Pah Pah Pink' ep. I placed it under the pp stripe, as it seems as another stripe.

I finished up with some translucent dew drops.

Thanks in a tag

One of the FAV

Today I'd like to share with you a CAS card I created for a local charity initiative, and for some challenges. The challenge at Less Is More #464 asked to use a tag:

I decided to be a little creative and use the negative stencil technique.

I die cut a tag from a scrap paper, and used it as a stencil on a white cs.

I used colors according to the colors from The Color Throwdown #691 - mint green, strawberry, light yellow and navy:

The ink blending was with mint, yellow and red inks, and then I stamped the butterfly with 3 different shades of blue. I inked the sentiment with navy ink.

I matted the panel with navy cs, and adhered it to the white basis in an angle. I think it added some interest to the card.

A birthday card with burshstrokes

One of the FAV

One of the Winners

Hello crafty friends! Today I'd like to share with you a birthday card I made for several challenges.

The colors offered at CAS Colours & Sketches really cought my eyes:

Such a beautiful color combo!

I also loved the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches:

I knew right away I'd be using my brushstorkes stamps.

I used 3 different stamps, with the colors of the challenges. The leaf was die cut 3 times, with a textured cs on the upper layer. I also inked it's edges to give some defenition and it gave the leaf kind of a shadow, when adhered on the stamped brushstrokes.

I added the sentiment on the right, this time vertically, as if it is a barrier for the brushstrokes.

It also goes for the 'Botanical' challenge at CASology:

Especially for you - a triangle pocket card

I like to find inspiration all around the web, and Pinterest is such a wonderful app for getting inspired. When I saw the triangel pocket card, envelope look, I wanted to give it a try. There're many tutorials for making this style, you can see one of them HERE

I loved the colors combo in Global Design Project #431:

It reminded me a pp collection I have in my stash. I used two pp from this collection.

When you fold the front panel in triangels, it creates a pocket, where you can stack flowers, leaves or any other images.

I stamped  some stamped flowers in the challenge colors,  and some leaves and then die cut them. I adhered the bouquet, partially  inside the pocket, and some outside. I then added a sticker sentiment in Hebrew (which says 'Ecpecially for You'), and my card is done!

It also goes for the 'tri-fold challenge' at Just Us Girls #630:

Here's the card when it's open:
