Just laugh & be happy - CSI case file #126

It's time for a new case file at CSI, case file #126, with a happy summery palette:
And this is my take on it:
Edit: fetured designer at Sketchabilities

I used Sketchabilities sketch #116:
I used some StudioFourteen40' goodies: Happy life vellum tabs set 1 (out of stock but soon to be back!); flairs (a happy life set 5; robot rumble set 6 - on sale!!). I also used some Creative Embellishments' chipboards. Papers, tags, envelope - Fancy Pants Park Bench collection.
This is how I solved the case file:
Scheme - all colors are here.
Evidence - chevrons, polka dots, flowers, numbers (on the envelope behind the photo), ampersand, heart, transparent element (the vellum tab), scallops.
Testimony - my circular journaling spot has a decorative edge, and I used all the inspiration words on my journaling: "Life with you are a continuous invitation for adventures, celebration and joy. there's always a funny face, a happy frank and a cracking up. Eilat, Nov 2013".
I would like to enter it also to the June challenge at Orange Paperie & Co., which is a tic tac toe challenge. I have two rows - twine, orange chippies and punching, orange, cogs.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

True Beauty - a lo for Stuck?! June 1st reveal plus GD for Color Me Scrappy

One of my April's layouts won Top 3 at Color Me Scrappy, and I was invited to be a Guest Designer over there for June. Here's June 1st palette, with the added creteria to use at least 3 different manufacturers. Here's the palette:
I combined it with my DT assignment for Stuck?! June 1st sketch:
I flipped the sketch to the side, and this is what I came up with:
At first, the color combo, with the pink, was very challenging for me, but I'm so pleased with how my lo came out! so soft and serene. The photo was taken on March this year, on the deck at Tel Aviv port. I've had a wonderful day, great weather and meeting my BFF.
The products I used to meet the CMS creteria:

Prima - pp, flowers
K & Co. - die cuts
Crate Paper - pp, a brad
My Mind's Eye - pp
Basic Grey - a brad
Fancy Pants - flair buttons
Purple Pumpkin - crochet doily
Petaloo - flowers
Kaisercraft - flowers
Here are some close-ups on the details:
Thank you, Tammy, for inviting me to be a Guest Designer at CMS. I enjoyed making this lo very

much.
Thank you all for taking the time and visiting my blog, I appreciate every comment you care to leave me.

What is CSI for me - AFSC June 1st reveal plus case #124 at CSI

We have a new challenge for you at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge:  what is you favorite pastime on your computer. For a very long time I was simply  stumped by this challenge, and didn't really know what am I going to make for this one. Once again our team leader at AFSC, Anne, came with gorgeous ideas, and bingo!, I had an idea - my all time fav challenge site - Color, Stories, Inspiration, aka CSI!!
The color palette of case file #124 was also very challenging for me - so girly :), so it was a perfect match - a challenging theme with a challenging color combo.
And so I've made a layout about 'what is CSI for me'. I printed CSI's banner, with a little bokeh effect (not well seen on the photo), and gathered supplies in the palette colors, and this is what I came up with:
This is how I solved the case:
Scheme - all 5 colros are here.
Evidence - butterlies, flowers, glitter, wings, stars, plaid pattern, swirls, tiny brads, bokeh photo effect.
Testimony - I wrote 7 facts (fun? sure fun!) about my topic:
1. Anticipating every Friday eve for the new case file reveal.
2. Meeting new on-line friends.
3. A great combo of colors, elemnts and journaling.
4. Makes me think out side of the box, getting out of my comfort zone.
5. Enriches my creativity.
6. A source of inspiration.
7. A warm and friendly community.
I used StudioFourteen40's flair (brights set 6)
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Now it's your turn to show us what is YOUR fav pastime on your computer.
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog. I appreciate every comment you care to leave me.

Here's my card:
And here are some close-ups on the details:

Breathtaking - GD for Black With 2

I was invited be Eve, the owner of Black With 2, to be a Guest Designer for June, and of course I said YES! I rarely work with black cardstock as a the background of my layouts, and the challenges at Black With 2 are very challenging for me, but I'm also a great fan of challenges :).
Here's June's challenge:
And the sketch to work with:
And this is my lo for the challenge:
The photo was taken about 6 months ago, at twilight time, on our vacation at Eilat. the redish soft colors of the sunset, and the light on the red mountains,  were awesome!
I used the inspiration word 'Sweetness' for my jouranling, which says: "Moments of sweetness, at twilight time. Eilat, Nov 2013".
I used some SudioFourteen40's goodies - flairs (postmark set 2; thrift shop set 8) and chalked file tab (set 1)
Here are some close-ups on the details:
Thank you, Eve, for inviting me to be your Guest Designer this month. I had so much fun with this challenge!
