All occasion card in pink and green

Another card made from scraps of my April counterfeit mini kit, this time using the beautiful papers from Lemoncraft, and it's perfect for their Roses challenge:

I've added some Scrapiniec chipboards, flowers and stamped leaves, colors with some Lindy's spray. I also used some gauze and for the final touch - splatters with another Lindy's spray.
Here're some close-ups:

It goes for the Spring moodboard challenge at Simonsays Wednesday challenge blog, and for the Beautiful Blooms challenge at Simonsays Monday challenge blog.

3 Birthday cards - using scraps

For my April counterfeit mini kit I've mainly used scraps and leftovers pieces of pp. After making 2 layouts from this mini kit, I decided to make some cards, to fill my cards box.
The 1st card is quite masculine in colors:

The 2nd card is more feminine or childish. It fitts to the 1st challenge at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog - 'Be inspired by the weather' - I was inspired both by the clouds and by the rainbow - the dp is so like a rainbow:

The 3rd one is really one that uses scraps of papers, to create a lovely birthday cake shape:
Simple cards, no fussy cutting, no mixed media - just papers and stamps.

Just be yourself - CSI case file no. 279

The mid-month reveal is up at CSI, and this is my take on case file no. 279. Here's the inspiration photo:
I took inspiration from the colors and the white space. I must say the white space was quite challenging for me.
For this lo I used my April counterfeit kit.
The clues I've used to solve the case were: dots, stripes, b&w prints, hearts, cursive fonts, lots of white space. I tacked my journaling in a pocket, and used the inspiration word "Make", to write some thoughts about making choices in life, and sticking to them, as it was election day here...

Let's eat cake - Scrap The Boys April challenge

Scrap The Boys has a great challenge this month - 'Let's eat the cake!'
I have a perfect photo for this challenge - my boys with macaroons at a cafe in Paris.
I've used my April counterfeit mini kit, and did a lot of fussy cutting of floral elements.
I kept my layout very simple - no dimensional, no mixed media - clean & simple. I had so much fun making this one!
The pink/green dp is Lemoncraft - both sides of the same paper. I also added some 13@rts stickers and fussy cut the milkshake element.
Here're some close-ups:

April Fresh - Counterfeit kit challenge - mini kit

I decided to try again the concept of 'mini kit' with Counterfeit Kit Challenge.
This month they are counterfeiting Hipkit Club March kit:
I must say, this kit is totally not ME! but that's the challenge - to make it mine!
I took inspiration from some of the colors - pink, yellow, pale blue, green. next were the patterns - florals, plaid, b/w patterns, cameras, stripes, spots, hearts, butterflies.
I also decided I'd be using mostly scraps and some 6x6 papers, and made my mini kit - 'April Fresh'.
For the embellishments, I made some of my own by stamping, coloring and embossing. I also added  lattice stamps and enamel dots in coordinating colors:
I'm planning on making at least one layout and some cards from this mini kit.

Explore - CSI case file no. 278

A new month, with a new case file at CSI, case file no. 278:
I really love when I have the perfect photo for the case file, and this time I had a photo, taken by Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, with the matching colors, and it matched the theme of 'Travel' - two points for me!
I used all 5 colors from the scheme and my clues were: solid cs, globe, triangles (a modeling paste through a stencil on the background) and circles, plante, negative shapes (the title is a negative adhered on a pp background) and drip something (lots of Lindy's sprays as usuall for me).
I used a circular journaling spot for my journaling, documenting our vacation in Paris.
Here're some close ups:

All pp are Maja Design 'Enjoying the Outhdoors' collection.
I used Lindy's sprays: Sassy Sapphire (to color the doily), Shabby Turbine Teal and Sweet Violet Purple Teal. For the stamping I used Ranger's archival inks.
