It's all about lace... and about love

I decided to try the sketch over mojo monday, and this is my take on it.
I used peach & craft cs, white & pink & certainly celery doilies. I've made the lace flower in the center out of lace ribbon - I sewed over and then I pulled the thread till it became round and I shaped it into a flower and then I stitched over the pink and bashful blue buttons.
I punched pink & craft cs with MS lace punch and adhered them one on top of the other. the two flowers on the right side are BG circles from June Bug favour bag kit , that I just crumpled a bit and adhered flower buttons.
I distressed the edges of the dp by tearing and distress ink and I also inked the pink doily's edges. I stitched all around the dp with two threads - brown and pink (it is hard to see it because they're so thin. next time I should buy me more thick threads). I did some paper piercing on the peach cs, so both of them give a frame to the whole card.
I added big yellow/cream rose with tulle and a few gold and cream tiny silk ribbon roses. On top of the centered flower, I added a silver pin with tiny blue beads, and some shimering pink pearls on the laced cs.
Well, it sure isn't a CAS card... LOL , but I've made it to a very dear and loved lady, who celebrates a big birhday real soon. I only hope that she will not read my blog the next few days, so this card will surprize her on her B-day...
and I'm entering it to the following challenges:
lace & doily (as your focal point. I guess mine is main focal poing ot this card) - Moxie Fab world....)
lace, pin, pearl - #50 creative inspirtaions
little things (the pin and the beads, the tiny silk roses, the pearls) - #7 creatalicious
photo inspiration - #15 basic grey
bling - #8 tellen's; # 2 paper jewels (my inspiration was this one)
circle, silver, pearl - day 2 365 cards (well, the silver is very, buy very, tiny - the pin. but still I have silver here... no cheating this time...LOL and there are lots of circles - the doilies, the flowers on the right, the lace flower, the pink button on the flower, the pearls...)
circles - #80 cupcake craft (see the above... lots of circles here)
colors & border - embellish magazine
paper piercing - #27 crazy4challenges
inspiration - #78 etsyinspired my inspiration was this
movies inspiration - #5 fussy and fancy (mine on this card is Elizabeth, the golden age. the lace flower reminded me of Elizabeth's collar)
flower & buttons - #48 stampin' b's
leave it out - #16 quixotic
favorite technique - frosted designs - mine is certainly distressing!
lucky me! - #8 pile it on
new product - #9 crafty ann (this is the first time I use pin and beads...)
color combo - #58 color dare

Thank you for stopping by!

Libeeti, what a gorgeous card. I have used pins a few times but need but have difficulty in how to hide the sharp end. You though have done a perfect job of this card.

Thank you for taking the time to enter this into the Crafty Ann's Challenge this fortnight. I was lucky enough to be a Guest Designer this month so I am looking at all the lovely creations and seeing how others interpreted the challenge.

Take care and my best wishes, Kym xxx

הכרטיס יפהפה!!!
שמחתי לראות שתפרת.
באמת קשה לראות את שני הצבעים אבל המרקם של התפירה מוסיף מאד

השכבות ושילוב הצבעים והמרקמים נהדרים
