Dream (live full the life you have imagined) - Stuck?! Sept 15th reveal

A new sketch at Stuck?! Sketches, and I was really inspired by this sketch, though my take on it is a little different from the original sketch.
Here's the sketch:
And this is my take on it:
As you can see, I didn't use multi-photos, but instead of the rectangles in the original sketch, I used diamond  chipboards (Creative Embellishments) as an accent to the photo I used.
This lo is full of mixed media techniques and mediums - gesso, stencils, masking and misting, modeling paste, stamping, embossing, etc.
I was inspired by two challenges - the challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo for September, with the theme of 'Imagine':
I tried to give a dreamy look and feeling to my page. I strongly believe that setting one's imagination free, dreaming, is aSn essential part of a healthy soal. building castles in the sand, which is what my boy was doing when I took this photo, is one of the ways to set your imagination free.
The other challenge I was inspired by is the September moodboard at Sassy Scrappers:
Isn't this moodboard just gorgeous? I was inspired by the colors, the beach theme and the distressing look. I tried to mimic the sand look with the embossing powder, and I added some stamped shells.
I would also like to enter it to September's challenge at Creative Embellishments, which is to use a fav CE products. I just LOVE their chippies, and can't have enough of them :). and it also goes for the 'Summer Memories' challenge at Stampendous, and I used some of their gorgeous embossing powders.

Door hanger

 I've made a door hanger for my office, to hang when I'm at a meeting. the background is in a mixed media style, while the flowers were cut from felt. I love the contradiction between the two parts, plus I got to use some of my hoarded felt :).
To make the flowers I used Die-namics dies, in different sizes.
I would like to enter it to the flower challenge at Craft Hoarders Anonymous, for their 'All pretty flowers' challenge.
For the colors I was very inspired by September moodboard at Sassy Scrapper:
I loved this moodboard so much, that I've made another project, inspired by this moodboard, to be revealed in a couple of days ;-).

Grapes Harvesting

Hello everyone and thank you for hoping to my blog :).
There's a new case file at CSI, case file #139, with a fantastic sketch by Em Stafrace:
And this is my take on this wonderful case file:
My clues to solve the case were:
Sketch - checked;
Scheme - all 5 colors are here;
Evidence - stripes, clouds, flowers, mini brads, two of soemthing (two photos), triangles, flourishes.
Testimony - my journaling, documenting my youngst harvesting grapes, is written on the cloud, and I used IW 'perfect' in my journaling (it was indeed a perfect day).
The background paper is Prima, and so is the circular latice stencil I used. all other pp are Echo Park, a mix&match of collections. white cs and brads are AC.
I would like to enter it to the 'anything goes' challenges, both at Paper Issues and at Clique Kits.

Back 2 School - case file no. 138 at CSI

A new case file at CSI, case file #138:
I used a photo of mine, taken on my 3rd year at the University, studing hard for an exam.
I used Sept. sketch from C'est Magnifique:
My clues to solve the case were:
Scheme - all colors are here.
Evidence - woodgrain (one of the pink papers), grid pattern, damask (stamped in brown on the background, so it can hardly be seen, and on the hidden tag in the envelope), envelope, tape measure, a tag, numbers, buttons, triangles, paint and loops.
Testimony - on a tag, tucked inside the brown envelope, and it reads: "At the end of October 2014, I will return to school :), I'm going to start my Master's degree study at the university, more than 20 years after I graduated my Bachelor's degree :).  I'm about to finish my degree in one calendar year. studying is a little tight - twice a week, while I'm still working full time job, and it's far from home. I'm excited and worried at the same time. September 2014".
All papers are from Fancy Pants (mostly from 'Collecting Moments' collection), and so are the envelopes, flair button, stickers, buttons, cork arrow and the clock die-cut. the flowers are Petaloo's. the flourishes chipboards are from Creative Embellishments, and they're one of my most fav chipboards from this manufacturer, so this page goes for their Sept. challenge. I coated the chipboards with gesso, and painted them with TH distress stain and distress ink, and used Stampendous embossing powder. stamps are American Crafts' and Kaisercraft's. I also used TCW stencil and I colored the modeling paste with LGS magical.

Birthday Girl

September challenge at White With 1 is a bit of a challenge for me, as I normally don't use much pink (or my boys won't like my layouts...LOL), and marshmallow is not one of my fav colors to work with,  but a challenge is  a challenge, and I just love challenges!
I also challenged myself to make a mixed media background but a pastel and stuble one, so here's what I made for this challenge, with a photo of me, on my 4th birthday:
For my lo, I used lots of stencils with modeling paste, punches, dies, mist and peral pen. I really love how soft and subtle is the background, and I also love the texture of it.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

A list of some of the products:
cardstock - American Crafts;
mist - Mister Huey's 'First Kiss';
disterss ink - Ranger TH 'Worn Lipstick';
punches: Martha Stewart (monarch butterfly & royal butterfly; punch around the page franch scroll;
stencils: Tim Holtz 'Dot Fade Layering'; The Crafter's Workshop 'Mini Quatrefoil Reversed' & 'Mini Ledger'; Prima 'Circular Lattice'.
dies: Die-namics (mini royal roses and large royal rose), Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Romantic Rectangles'; Memory Box ('Tessatina Border' & 'Virtuso Music'); Cheery Lynn Designs 'mini fanciful flourish'.
