True Beauty

An unsual lo for me, photos without people... The photos are from Rosh Hanikra, and I've already made a mini album about our travel there. If you wish to see it, please click HERE. This place is one of the most beautiful places in Israel.

Anyway, I've made this lo cause I wanted to scrap not only our travel and the beautiful view, but also about my (late) insight concerning my youngest. I got that insight only many weeks after our travel, when I printed the photos for that mini album. 

Looking at my youngest's photos, when he went out from the grottoes, made me realize that the contradiction between the darkness inside the grottoes and the strong bright daylight outside, freaked him out! I had a late insight, but better late than never...

I used the sketch from Sketchy Thursdays:

The cardstock is Bazzill, the dp is Stamperia and the title is a K&Co. die-cut. I used two TH masks with Ranger distress ink (broken china). I also used some TA glimmer mist on the brackets journling spot. The bling is homemade, and I added some perals from my stash.

דף לא שגרתי אצלי, כי אין בו תמונות עם אנשים, רק נוף. תמונות מראש הנקרה, מטיול שערכנו לשם לפני כשנה, בראש השנה. על הטיול הזה הכנתי בעבר מיני אלבום, אבל הפעם רציתי לעצב דף לא רק על יופיו של המקום (מדהים!), אלא גם תובנה מאוחרת שהייתה לי. 

הטיול בתוך הנקרות היה נפלא, אבל כשיצאנו מאפילה לאור השמש החזק, הניגודיות כנראה הלמה בצעיר הבנים, והוא פשוט נטרף, ומשם הטיול שלנו פשוט התחרבש. לצערי, את התובנה על מה השתבש קיבלתי רק כמה שבועות מאוחר יותר, כשפיתחתי את התמונות מהטיול, וראיתי את הפרצוף המאד לא מרוצה שלו בתמונות מחוץ לנקרות. מאז למדתי לקח שבמעברים חדים כאלו, צריך לדאוג למתן עבורו את המעבר. עדיף מאוחר מאשר אף פעם לא...

אני אוהבת את המראה של המסיכה, שמזכירה את התנפצות הגלים על הסלעים, והפנינים והבלינג (תוצרת עצמית) מדמים את נתזי המים הזוהרים בשמש. בכל זאת נשאר זכרון של יפי המקום....

תודה על תשומת הלב! אנחנו מנצלים את מזג האוויר הנפלא ומטיילים ברחבי הארץ, גומעים עוד ועוד מיופיה של הארץ. שיהיה חג שמח ומהנה!
