Funny Faces - lo and something from a young scrapper...

Welcome to the new Simple Doodles challenge, which is this time - buttons. Easy peasy one, isn't it? We all have lots of them and sometime we just tend to forget to use them, so here is the opportunity to dust them and use them!

For my lo I also used lots of stripe scraps from previous projects and some sticky tapes. I always keep those scraps and now I could use some of them. Another forgotten stash are the die-cuts, so all in all I'm very pleased I managed to  use so much stash on this one, without cutting any new dp.

I used sketch #130 from Creative Scrappers: 

The photo is of my youngest, turning himself upside down and making faces to the camera, as he always does. It is almost impossible to take his photo without him making faces. So the title is, in Hebrew, a kind of a nickname about funny faces, and the journaling says how difficulte it is to take a non-faces photo of him.

And last but not least, I got inspired by Joni, or should I say by her son, Joseph, and my eldest (8.5 years old) saw Joseph's scrapping and wanted also to make a lo and asked me to post it in my blog. So here is my son's first layout :)))) :

הנה חלפו שבועיים נוספים, והגיע הזמן לאתגר חדש אצל Simple Doodles. האתגר לשבועיים הקרובים הוא כפתורים. פשוט וקל. לכולנו  יש מלאי עצום של כפתורים, וזו הזדמנות נהדרת להשתמש בהם.

בדף הזה השתמשתי בהרבה שאריות של דפים, מהרצועות שכמעט תמיד נשארות מדף מעוצב שחותכים אותו, וגם בסלוטייפ מעוצב. זאת היתה הזדמנות להשתמש בכל אותן שאריות, מבלי לחתוך מחדש אף דף נוסף. השתמשתי גם בכל מיני חיתוכים של BG, שגם הם נערמים בקופסה וכמעט תמיד אני שוכחת להצי בה ולהשתמש בהם. התיפורים הם עם עט סיגנו לבן והאותיות הן של "תוצרת הארץ", נפלאות ביותר! עם הפטנט הגאוני שבו הן נדבקות סופית רק אחרי רבע שעה, ובינתיים אפשר קצת לשחק ולהזיז אותן, מבלי שנגרם נזק לדף - באמת גאוני. ראיתי שיש להן 6 צבעים בינתיים (שחור, לבן, ורוד, תכלת, אדום וחום), ואני מקווה שיהיו בשלל צבעים נוספים.

התמונות הן של צעיר הבנים, עושה פרצופים כהרגלו למצלמה. כמעט בלתי אפשרי לצלם אותו מבלי שהוא יעשה "פוזות". בפעם הזאת, פשוט זרמתי איתו וצילמתי אותו כל הזמן עם פרצופים והצגות.

הדף השני הוא יצירה של הבכור. הוא רצה לעבוד על דף גם כן, וכל כך נהנה, אז גם אני :)))....
