דף נוסף לאלבום השנה הראשונה של הבכור, דף  משלים לדף הקודם שהכנתי על אותה חגיגת חנוכה בגן.

כל הדפים המדוגמים הם של DCWV; האותיות הן טיקרס של AMERICAN CRAFTS (הגדולות) ושל My little shoebox (הקטנות). קצת תפירה בצדדים, פאנצ' בורדר לעיטור וחותמת.

This is my take on September 15th sketch at Stuck?!:

The photo is of my eldest, when he was 9 months old, on Hanukkah party at the kindergarten. My mom put her sunglasses on his face, and he looked so cute!  Here are some close-ups:

Almost all dp on this lo are DCWV (The Guy stack), except for the punched pale blue cs (it looks white but it's actually pale blue), and the white big circle. All the papers I juse here, except for the background cs, were left overs.

Stamps are  Inkadinkado and Autumn Leaves; alphas are AC Thickers; punches - MS (for the fan flower) and Fiskars;  ink - memento; buttons are from my stash.

דף לאלבום של הבכור, עם תמונה שלו כשהיה כבן 9 חודשים, במסיבת חנוכה במעון. אמי הרכיבה על עיניו את משקפי השמש שלה, והוא נראה היה כל כך מתוק וחמוד! :-)

כמעט כל הדפים המדוגמים הם של DCWV (מסטאק The Guy),  למעט דף התכלת המפונצ'צ' (נראה לבן, אבל זה בעצם תכלת מאד בהיר), והעיגול הבהיר הגדול שמאחורי התמונה. למעט דף הרקע - כל הדפים הם שאריות מפרוייקטים אחרים (אני אוגרת בקפדנות יתירה את כל השאריות...).

השתמשתי בפאנץ' תחרה של MS בפרח אקורדיון ובפאנץ' בורדר של פיסקרס גם למסגרת של הדף המדוגם וגם כעיטור בצד הימני העליון. החותמות הן של Inkadinkado ושל Autumn Leaves, שתיהן ממסטיקים, ומשם גם אותיות הטיקרס לכותרת. הכפתורים הם מחנות היצירה המקומית.

Teeth

September's inspiration at Screen2Scrap is the movie poster of Rio:

The extra bonus demands are:

One word title; use blue, yellow and red cs; add a bird. All of these are in my lo.

At first I thought I won't play with this challenge. The combination of blue/yellow/red cs was too difficult for me. I'm used to think about this color combo as something very bold, strong colors, and I wasn't in the right mood for that. 

But then I decided to take the challenge, and still make it my own, and so I went on the subtle shades of those colors - soft yellow, almost cream; pale blue; reddish. I really love what came out.

I used #99 sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches:

The photo is of my youngest, when he was 9 months old. Then he had only two teeth, and so the title says, in Hebrew: "Teeth". 

 vintage flourish frame is a digi from The Graphics Fairy; I've made two different kinds of rolled flowers:

The swirls and the bird were stamped with Ranger distress ink. I love the different effect of stamping with distress ink.

דף נוסף לאלבום של צעיר הבנים, הפעם עם תמונה שלו כשהיה כבן 9 חודשים. היו לו אז רק שתי שיניים, והחיוך שלו - שובה לב.

השתמשתי בשילוב צבעים מאתגר שביקש שימוש בקארדסטוקים בצבעים כחול, צהוב ואדום. בד"כ זה נתפס אצלי כשילוב מאד צבעוני, מאד חזק ובולט, וזה לא התאים לי עכשיו. אלא שאז החלטתי בכל זאת להיענות לאתגר, תוך שעדיין הדף יהיה עדין ורך כפי שרציתי.

לכן בחרתי ללכת על גוונים רכים ועדינים של שלושת הצבעים הללו - צהוב רק ועדין, כמעט על גבול הקרם; תכלת; אדמדם. התוצאה מאד מצאה חן בעיני.

המסגרת הוינטאג'ית היא חותמת דיגיטלית שמצאתי באתר The Graphics Fairy; את המערבולות והציפור החתמתי בדיו דיסטרס; הכנתי שני סוגים של פרחים מגולגלים והוספתי עלים מפאנץ'.

I really liked the color pallate this week at The Color Room, so I made another lo playing with these colors:

מאד מצא חן בעיני שילוב הצבעים מ-The Color Room, שהוא שילוב לא שגרתי עבורי. השתמשתי בו שוב לדף הזה, עם תמונה של צעיר הבנים כשהיה כבן 3.5 חודשים.
שתי סקיצות די דומות שימשו לי השראה לדף הזה, האחת מ-Frosted Designs והשניה מהקומונה הבית הפתוח לעיצובים בנייר.

דף הרקע הוא של DCWV; הדף המדוגם עם העיגולים הוא מביג דיל; המסגרת המעוטרת היא חותמת דיגיטלית; הפרחים הם של PRIMA (ממסטיקים); את מפיות התחרה סרגתי בעצמי; השתמשתי גם בגלימר מיסט (MY PUNCH) ובסרט תחרה מהאוסף הפרטי; אותיות - תוצרת הארץ (מסטיקים ורחלי גזית)

Just Perfect

I've made this lo with #75 palette from The Color Room and I used some of the freebies that were given there. Here's the palette:

The sketch is #98 Let's Capture These Sketches:

The combination of pale blue with shades of purple made me use this dp, that till now I really didn't find anything to do with it. There was a lot of fussy cutting, but I think it was worthwhile.

I used Prima clear stamp (the postage stamp), just perfect for the challenge at Frosted Designs. 
It also goes for the challenge at Scrapastic Club which is to mix your alphas.

תמונה של הבכור, מטיול באגמון החולה שערכנו לפני קרוב ל-5 שנים. השתמשתי בפלטת צבעים מ-The Color Room, עם שילוב של תכלת וגוונים עמומים של סגול. שילוב מעניין שלא יצא לי קודם לכן לעבוד איתו. זאת הייתה הזדמנות מצויינת להשתמש בדף המדוגם הפרחוני, שעד כה לא ממש מצאתי לו שימוש ראוי. הרבה חיתוכים עדינים (גם של המסגרת החינמית וגם של הפרחים), אבל התוצאה משתלמת.

A love song to our beloved country - עוד לא תמו כל פלאיך

אולי בגלל האירועים שהתרחשו ומתרחשים בתקופה האחרונה בארץ וסביבנו, אולי בגלל האירועים שעוד צפויים להתרחש, נחת עלי מצב רוח פטריוטי קל. במהלך הנסיעה היום חזרה הביתה, לאסוף את הילדים מביה"ס, שמעתי ברדיו את השיר "עוד לא תמו כל פלאיך" של יורם טהרלב. המילים הכל כך מוכרות, נכנסו לי עמוק מאד בתוך הלב, והשיר ליווה אותי בשעות החולפות.

לקחתי פסק זמן קל מדפים של תינוקות, כדי להכין דף מתוך טיול שלנו במרץ האחרון בדרך הפסלים ביער צרעה, עם  תמונות של פריחת כליל החורש, מרחוק ומקרוב.

פשוט כי "עוד לא תמו כל פלאיך".

דף הרקע - My Mind's Eye מסדרת Stella & Rose, וממנו עשויים גם הפרחים המקופלים וגם אלו המגולגלים (ניצול מקסימלי של הדף... כמעט שלא נשארו לי ממנו שאריות);  דף המאטינג - Octeber Afternoon מקולקצית 5 & Dime; הרצועה בצד - Stemperia, מפונצ'ץ' עם פאנצ' של MS. היישון של כל השוליים - עם דיו דיסטרס של TH;

I've made this lo with the inspiration of an Israeli song, about the love for our beautiful country. The title says, in free translation: "There are still lots of wonders in you (i.e. our country)", and the journaling is all lines from that song.

The photos are from our travel at Ztora Forest , the place where Samson lived.

I made the folded flowers and the rolled ones all from the same dp that I used for the background (My Mind's Eye); the dp under the photos is October Afternoon; the strip on the side is Stemperia, punched with MS deep edger punch; pearls are from my stash.

Till Heaven and Back עד השמים ובחזרה

This is a photo of me and my eldest, when he was about 5 months old. The title says, in Hebrew, "Till Heaven and Back" (I think in English you say it 'till the moon and back', the meaning is the same). This is how I feel about my boy, ever since he was born, and I keep telling it to him (and to his brother).

At ARTastsic, this month the isnpiration comes from the stunning painting "Almond Blossom" by Vincent Van Gogh:

I fell in love with this subtle painting, the soft colors and all the flowers. So this is my take on this challenge. I've covered all the extra demands:

Blue background - check; white flowers - check; brown or white title - check.

I used the sketch from StukOnUSketches:

I used dp from the 'Summer Seeds' kit (I even used some scraps from another project I made a few weeks ago, so I'm pleased),  and a music notes sheet; flowers are prima and the pearls are from my stash.

דף חדש שהכנתי לאתגר של השראה מתמונה, הפעם מתמונה מקסימה של ואן גוך. התמונה היא שלי ושל בכורי, כשהיה כבן 5 חודשים. את האמירה שבכותרת, שמשקפת את רגשותי, אני נוהגת לומר לו מאז שהיה תינוק ועד היום.

השתמשתי בניירות מהקיט 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה אילן (שהוציאה עכשיו קיט חדש, שנראה מדהים בתמונות ואני מחכה כבר לראות אותו בלייב...), כולל גם שאריות מדף אחר שהכנתי לפני כמה שבועות. הוספתי גם דוילי ו דף תווים קרוע, ואת כל הקרעים יישנתי עם דיו דיסטרס. הפרחים הם של פרימה והפנינים מהאוסף הפרטי, והאותיות הן 'תוצרת הארץ' של רחלי גזית ומסטיקים.

2002, Becoming a Mom - lo

2002 was a very significant year for me, it was the year my sweet boy was born and I became a mom. The dream came true and I was overwhelmed by the joy and happiness.

After I made this lo, I used some leftover scraps to make a card for the Jewish New Year, which is just around the corner. I entered the lo for the Scrapbookers Anonymous challenge, and they have an extra challenge each month to make a card from the leftovers of your lo, I just didn't see the Inlinkz there for the cards, so I'm waiting for it to appear...

I followed the white space challenge - day 184 at 365 cards.
