Good Luck on your new way - a card for a new recruit

I needed a card for a young person, who is dear to me, that is a new recruit.

As it's a card for a male, I wanted it to be as simple as possible, without flowers or any embellishments.

I used nesting dies and stamped the image in black and the sentiment in blue. The sentiment says, in Hebrew: 'Good Luck on your new way'.

I adhered the stacked dies on a pp with a very gentle pattern, also in blue hues.

Challenges:

The Male Room challenge - use stencils and/or dies. I used only dies:

Birthday Wishes in green and yellow

I loved both the color challenge at Color Throwdown, and the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, so I combined them into my birthday card.

I stamped the flowers using two yellow inks, so I got a tone on tone look. The center of the flowers were stamped with blackk ink. I die cut them with the coordinate dies (Papertrey Ink Pop-up Florals set).

I stamped the sprigs,on a white cs, using two different SU stamps set (Heavenly Hollyhocks and Sending Smiles), in mint and dark green.

I then aranged the flowers on top of the stamped sprigs, using foam dots for the bigger flower.

I stamped the sentiment (SU Sending Smiles), and adhered it to the flower and the panel.

I matted the white panel on a dark green cs, and then adhered it on the white basis.

For the final touch, I adhered some mint dots.

It also goes for the 'Garden' challenge at Addicted to CAS:

Flowers for an all occasion card

One of the FAV

An all occasion card, made with dies only. No stamping, inking or masking this time. I only added some glittery enamel dots to the center  of the flowers.

The sentiment says, in Hebrew: Mazal Tov, and it's an all occasion blessing, so can by used for birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc.

For the flowery frame and the background I used Graphic 45  pp from 'Portrait of a Lady' collection.

For the sentiment and it's matting I used some white and kraft scraps.

Challenges:

Color Hues #61- peach and kraft:

TimeOut #235 - photo inspiration:

My inspiration was the wreath hanging on the window, with it's kraft/brown, peach and white colors, plus the script letters.

Happy Little Stamper - anything goes with dies:

A butterfly - to my favorite person

ShowCASed at Less Is More

I had MTF 'Brilliant Butterflies' set on my desk already, and butterflies are so so beautiful, so I used this set for another card, a very mimimalistic card.

It's a OLC - One Layer Card, i.e. no  layers at all on this one, but still I managed to create some depth by using TH dots mask with black soot distress ink.

Another way to add some depth and interest to a OLC is by using different shades of the same color, which I did on the wings of the butterfly. For more interest, I inked the edges of the big wing with a little darker shade of aquamarine ink.

The intricate lacy wings and the body were stamped with black ink.

The sentiment, from Waffle Flower 'Happy Birthday Duo Sentiments set, was stamed several times with the same darker aquamarine ink I used for the edges of the big wing.

With such a versetile sentiment, this card can be usedd for many occasions, and also for both genders

Sending sunshine to brighten your day - Just Us Girls challenge

Mentioned at Just Us Girls

With all the bad news around, I really needed something to brighten my day, you can call it escampism... I do hope for better days for us.

So the current challenge at Just Us Girls #674, Sunshine, was so perfect for me:

Instead of using a sunshine image, I just went on sunshine colors - bright yeallo and apricot.

The current challenge at Inkspirational #287, was also prefect for this card, as they asked for a Clean & Simple card, with the optional twist of sunshine or rain:
I stamped the butterfly (MFT Brilliant Butterflies stamps and dies set) with two tones of yellow, adding some more ink to the edges, to make some depth. The intricate lace wings were stamped with apricot ink, and the body itself - in black.

The sentiments (SU  Sending Smiles stamps and dies set) were stamped with yellow and apricot inks.

I aranged the elements on a white vanilla cs, using some foam dots, and matted it with an apricot cs, then adhered the panel to a white cs basis.

I finished the card with some clear drops.

A Plantyful flowerpot for a birthday card

Here's my take on the current color challenge at Color Throwdown #737, where Lory asked for pink, rust and green:

I die cut a macrame hanger from a pink cs, a pot from a rust cs and used some pre cut foliage that I once made from scraps, in different shades of green.  I aranged the foliage in layers, some showing out of the hanger, to give some dimention.

I mounted the whole arrangement on foam tapes and added a glittery rust enamel dot.

A sentiment stamped on the same rust cs, matted with dark green cs.

The white panel was matted with rust cs and adhered to the white basis.

It also goes of the 'Layer it up' challenge at AAA Birthday Cards:
