Sunny colors for a birthday card

Seize the Birthday has a lovely challenge - CASE the designer:

Well, I DOUBLED cased them!

I really loved Barbara's card, who, in her turn, cased Cathy's card, so here're both cards:

First, Cathy's card:

As you can see, my take on those two cards is very loose, but that's okay when you Copy And Selectevly Edit a creation....

I was inspired by the vertical panel, and it has been a while since I made a card with this design.

Instead of a panel with alcohol inks or an embossed panel, my panel is with layering stencils.

I matted only the sides of the panel and adhered it to a kraft basis, as I thought kraft was so perfect with these sunny colors.

I added stripes of sentiemnt from my pre-made pile, and added some enamel dots.

It also goes for the 'Anything Goes' challenge at SimonSays Wednesday challenge.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments are much appreciated.

I loved Cathy's card and knew just what I would do for this challenge, which I picked. It makes a great masculine card and I will be making more of them for my masculine birthday friends. I noticed that by just changing the colors, it can be for anyone masculine or feminine as your card creation shows. Thanks for using the topping on this challenge.
