Happy Birthday, in red and black

Red and Black make such a beautiful combination. I often like to use this combination with kraft cs, and this time is no exception.

I had this itch in my hands ever since I got Altenew shattered triangles die set, and now was the perfect time to use it!

The background triangles were die cut from a red shimmer cs, and each one got a black shattered triangle.

I stampped the 'HAPPY' in black on a kraft cs basis, and then adhered the triangles in line. I die cut 'birthday' from the same kraft cs and adhered it to top of the triangles.

I really love how this card turned! Can you see the shimmering red cs? -

It goes for the following challenges:

Color Hues - red and black:

Just Add Ink - minimalist:

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.
