Circles and Dots for a Thank You card

A CAS Thank You card for 3 challenges:
Just Add Ink #514 color challenge:
The 3rd challenge is from a local Facebook group, which asked for dots.
I stamped the circles and adhered a grey baker's twine and matted it all on a light grey cardstock.
Then I adhered it on a polka dots pp, added the sentiment and put the panel on a white cardstock card basis.
I love this combination of circles and dots. What do you think?

A birthday gift set plus a birthday card

Happy Sunday dear crafty friends!
I made a gift set for a friend at work, and since she'll get in later than her birthday, I added a 'Happy (belated) Birthday' card.
I made the desk organizer following Keren Skubach's tutorial, which you can find HERE. I used very heavy whieght cardstock and Parparart's papers do decorate it.
This is how it looks when closed:

And open:

The photo frame holder was made also following Keren's tutorial which you can find HERE
This is how it looks when closed, whith a belly band to hold it:

And open:

I also included another photo (not seen), in the inner pocket.

And the birthday card:

I submit it to the current challenge at AAA Birthday cards, which is 3D:
And the full set once again:

Open Skies - CSI case file 325 July 15th

I'm not an American, so I don't celebrate July 4th, but still the colors of the inspiration photo for Case File 325 at CSI, cought my eyes:

The photo was taken on October 2015, when me and my youngest were on a vacation in London. Yet my journaling is 'Here & Now' - how Covid-19 abolished all our vacation plans since the skies are no longer open.
All papers I used are Piatek13, except the grayish woodgrain one, from the 'Off  Shore' collection. I love their papers - so beautiful and also heavy whieght.
How I solved this case file:
I used all 5 colors of the scheme. For the evidence I used: stripes, stars, woodgrain pattern, vintage/retro style elements (the alphas, the black stamped lace border), flowers, a banner, distressing, something transparent (vellum leaves) and melt something (I heat embossed the flowers and the hidden London stamp on the blue paper).
For my journaling I used the inspiration words free/ freedom and added stars to my journaling spot.

I used PageDraft sketch from Challenge YOUrself:

Here're some close-ups on the details:

Follow your heart - a card for Color Throwdown

A card, again clean & simple, for the current challenge at Color Throwdown #601:
I must admit - the colors combo was a bit challenging for me, not my colors combo, but the photo inspiration was so beautiful and the DT's works gave so much inspiration, so I had to give it a try.
For the 'brush storkes' I used distress inks, and for the sentiment and the small spots - archival ink.

A musical and cheerful birthday card - CAS(E) This Sketch meets CAS Colours and Sketches

A CAS birthday card, musical style and cheerful, for two challenges:
I backed white cs with double sided adhesive, die cut the musical tones. While the die cut was still in place, I colored it with blue and purple inks, and then adhered it to the card base.
A 'happy birthday' stamp, and some enamel dots, and my card is done.
