No limitations - CSI case file no. 144

A new case file at CSI, case file #144, with one of my all time fav color palette:
This is my take:
My clues to solve the case were:
Scheme - all colors are here.
Evidence - paint (gesso, mist, distress stain, Ecoline), polka dots, triangles, lightbulb, buttons (flair buttons).
Testimony - I used the inspiration word 'limit' both for my title, which says in Hebrew - 'No Limitations', and for my journaling, which I also placed on a stamped journaling spot. and it reads: "Each year, on your birthday, we go to the chocolate restaurant, and you eat chocolate. lots of chocolate. without any limitation. once a year...".
It also goes for the 'line' challenge at Paperdvizhnik. their DT are so talented and the blog is full of inspiration! pop over and take a look.
Here are some close-ups on the details:

Here's a video of how I made the background:
materials:
papers - Fancy Pants, mostly from 'Park Bench' collection.
inks - Ranger's TH distress inks, Ranger's Adirondack inks, Ranger's Archival ink.
stamps - Unity Stamps, Prima, Autumn Leaves
paints -  13@arts Ayeeda chalk mist, Mr. Huey's mist, Ecoline.
stencils - The Crafter's Workshop.
chipboards - Creative Embellishments.
flair buttons and vellum circle - StudioFourteen40.
alphas - local Israeli manufacturer.
misc - gesso, thread - from my stash.

Art journal page

I'm working on a new project, yet not to be revealed, but I can tell you it's an art journal notebook. it's very special for me, and I'm making it to document something very special for me, a special journey.
In my notebook, I have different tabs, some of them about preparations to the journey, and some for each day of the journey, according to the week's days.
Today I want to share with you the page for Sunday:
I've made if for a few challenges:

So Amazing - Stuck?! Sketches Oct 15th reveal

Another post of mine, again with a DT project. this time it's a lo for Stuck?! Sketches new sketch challenge. here's the beautiful sketch, drawn by the talented Laura:
And this is my take:
Fetured at Berry71Bleu

As you can see, I didn't use the hexagon shapes at all. instead I used leaves for my background and stamping, as you'll be able to see in the 'start to finish' video right at the bottom of my post.
For this lo I was inspired very much by the October moodboard at Berry71Bleu:
I really loved the rustic feeling and the color combo, and made my layout with this inspiration.
Another challenge I was inspired by was the current challenge at Frosted Designs, which is fall colors, ink and bling. I have all 3 of them on my lo :).

Good Luck card with a list of wishes - Scrap Africa October 15th reveal

Hi everyone! it's the 15th of the month, so it's a little busy here in my bloggy world, as I have 3 different DT projects to share, each on a seperate post :), so let's get started.
At Scrap Africa, our leader, the lovely Denise, asked us to make a projects with a list, which includes at least 10 items. well, this challenge was right up my alley, as I needed a 'good luck' card for our babysitter, who starts her B.A studies in a few days.
My card is fairly simple, no mixed media this time LOL:
For the list part, I used a My Mind's Eye stamp, which consist of 10 numbered lines, and I also framed it with a frame stamp, then I tucked it into a burlap pocket. I also used Prima stitches stamp on the backgroun dotty paper, added a die-cut felt flower and two ribbon roses, cut some felt leaves - and I'm done!
On the list I wrote our wishes for her, may she succeed. we love her dearly.

Thank you for stopping by and I would love to read your comments.

Growing - CSI case file no. 143

A new case file at CSI, and this time with a fab sketch by Em Stafrace, here's case file #143:
And here's my take on it:
I used 3 photos of my youngest, from different periods, documenting his growing up.
My clues to solve the case were:
Scheme - all colors are here.
Evidence - mixed media background, a frame, pen work, flowers, circles, book pages.
Testimony - I wrote my journaling directly on the background, and it reads: "Day after day I enjoy seiing you growing, from a baby to a cheerful smiling boy, very sensetive with a big warm heart. love you very much. Mom."
Here's a video how I created this layout:

Simple Pleasures - Stuck?! October 1st reveal

It's a new month, so at Stuck?! Sketches we have a fab new sketch, drwan by talented Laura Whitaker:
This time we also partnering with the color combo from Color Me Scrappy:
And this is my take on the sketch and the the palette:
Patterned papers are Jillibean Soup, and so is the label die-cut on the upper right corner and the journaling tag behind the photo. I also used products from our sponsor, Scrapmatts - the wood titles and the big butterfly chipboard.
I also used Prima stencil, dies (Die-Namites, Memory Box, Die-namics) and Marta Stewart's punches.
I would like to enter it to the current challenge at Frosted Designs - 'Fall'.
Here are some close-ups on the details:
