Dream - lo

Edit: There's a new and exciting new challenge blog, called Scrapbookers Anonymous. The owners, Theresa and Lea, wish to encourage us to use our lost & forgotten scrapbook stash. What a great idea.
Their first challenge is "templates". I aked if it's okay to submit an 'old' lo, and Theresa was kind enough to say it's okay, so I'm uploading it there. Thanks, gals!

Welcome to a new Simple Doodles challenge! This time it sketch time, created by the very talented Janice:

I just love this sketch! Thank you, Janice.
I fliped and turned the sketch a little, and this lo is also for the mutual game my friend Tesa and I are playing - we challenge each other with our los. This time it was my turn and the challenge was pretty toughie one...
It was all about 3, or should I say - No more than 3. Up to three papers (only I forgot to say it inclueds the cs, so both Tesa and I did not include it on the count... LOL), 3 ribbons, pearls, paints. No more embellishments are allowed. The photo itself can be up to 1/3 of the lo, and it can be no more than 6X4 (can use more than 1 photo, as long as this measurments are kept). Take a look at Tesa's take on this toughie challenge! FAB, isn't it?
One can see immediately the different styles we both have!
I used 3 acrylic paints: white/cream, pink & green. I only mixed the pink with the cream to get two shaeds of the pink... I used stencils both for the frame around the cs and the rose on the bottom left corner. I just love the outcome! Isn't it just pretty? It matches perfectly the pattern on the K & Co.'s dp.

With border punches I made the two different lace look stripes. On the upper right corner I added a lace ribbon on the punched stripe.
The letters for the title are felt and I matted them with the same hot pink paper I used for the lace sripes.
Oh, almost forgot! It's me in the photo! :) I'm about 4 years old, kneeling on the sidewalk just outside our home. I have this dreaming look on my face, and that what inspired me for the title.

So please join us in the fun, and play with us at Simple Doodles.

And this lo goes also for the following challenges:
colors - #41 colourQ
photo inspiration + colors - #16 otwc
doodling - paper niche
sketch + recipe (triple - mine is 3 pearls) - #27 pixie cottage

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me your lovely comments!
Have a great weekend.
