Sabbath's Father lo אבא של שבת

On fridays, there is a lovely tradition at the kindergartens that there are 'Sabbath's mom & dad'. They make some of the traditional customs of friday's eve, like lighting the candles, handing out the special friday bread, etc.

A couple of weeks ago it was my youngest turn, at last, to be "Sabbath's Father", and this is the photo that was taken while he preformed his duties.

A lace ribbon as a border and frame to the dp, distressing to the cs (DCWV) and to the brown dp (BG), MS lace punch to both cream & turquoise strips, wooden corner and wooden letters, flower arangement, tiny silk ribbon flowers and a pearl.

Did you notice the crochet heart? My new addiction, I'm afraid... LOL The perfect match to the crochet flower.

אבא של שבת, מוסד שלם בגן הילדים. הילדים מחכים לתפקיד הזה בכיליון עיניים. והנה, לפני כשבועיים, הגיע תורו של צעיר הבנים למלא את התפקיד הזה. הוא כל כך שמח והתרגש. ובתמונה הוא נראה כל כך רציני (כובד המשימה...).

שילבתי בדף הזה פינה מעץ  וכך גם האותיות עצמן מעץ, כשבכולם 'לכלכתי' בדיו דיסטרס. הכנתי גם לב מקרושה (ענייני הסריגה מסתעפים :)), והשתמשתי בסרט תחרה כבורדר לדף המדוגם.
