Piles of Smiles - Sketches in Thyme

Another layout done with my November Counterfeit kit, and it's the last layout with this kit. I really used my kit a lot this month, and I'm so happy about it!

And a minute before Autumn is leaving us, and Winter is coming, I've made a fall layout.

I used sketch #398 from Sketches In Thyme:
My photos were too large for 3 in one layout, so I used only two, and my title is rather small, comparing to the title in the sketch, but that's how it goes with sketches - a starting point....

It also my 2nd entry for the challenge at Creative Embellishments, with this beautiful moodboard:
For the twist of using wood, I used both wood veneers and wood feathers (these are CE ones). This time I took inspiration from the left upper photo, with the subtle tones.

Here're some close-ups on the details:

For the love of coffee - cards

Hello to all,  and Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

Today I'd like to share with you some cards I've made, inspired by coffee...

Top cup at Sunday Stamps

One of the Top Pick
November 2019

The first card goes for 3 challenges:
Retro Rubber Challenge - tic tac toe.
I used the bottom row - birthday, masculine, twine. The stains stamps are about 4 years old (at least that's when I bought it), and the sentiment stamp is even older (I think I have it for 5-6 years).
Sunday Stamps - sketch:
Here is a place to start - caffinated tones:

For the second card I used my November Counterfeit kit:

It goes for two challenges:

Great Things - a CAS card

A card I've made using my November counterfeit kit fot two challenges:
I flipped the sketch on the side.

More Than Words mini challenge, which asked for the word 'Great'.
The sentiment was stamped with clear embossing on a vellum and I embossed it with Lindy's Gilded Burgundy Brass ep. Then nI wrapped the vellum over a white cs and matted it with a kraft cs.

I love how the sentiment shine:

If you can dream it - you can do it (art journal)

Honourable Mention
November 2019

This is a new page in my art journal notebook, for two challenges.
The 1st - More Than Words challenge - success plus a key:
When I look back, I realize that the most successful things in my life were things I dreamt about, and then made them happen. So for me 'if you can dream it, you can do it' is the key to success. I also adhered a small key next to the message, to make it stand as my say.
The 2nd challenge is the color challenge from Lindy's Gang blog, with this beautiful color palette:
Here're some close-ups on the details:

Lindy's products I've used:
Moon Shadow Mist: Buccaneer Bronze.
Flat Magical: Caribbean Cruise set (Luscious Lime)
Shakers: Gutten Tag Teal.

Other products:
Prima Finnabair art basics: gesso clear, gesso white, soft matte gel.
Prima Finnabair extravgance: patina effect paste blue.
Prima Finnabair Art Daily stamps: Dream without fear set.
Stampers Anonymous TH stamps: mini motivation set.

Ranger's inks: archival ink jet black, embossing ink clear.
VersaFine inks: smoky gray, toffee

Flowery cards in purple, lavender and green - Color Throwdown no.569

Two flowery cards I've made with the color combo of purple, lavender and green, based on the Color Throwdown #569:
The first card is based on the sketch from CAS Colors & Sketches challenge blog:
I used several flowers stamps and used inks in the desired colors, then I cut a diamond shape and adhered it on the pp. Add a stamp and my card is ready.
It also goes for the challenge 'Thinking of You' at SimonSaysStamps Monday challenge.

For the 2nd card I used, again, the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch #348:
I used the stamped paper, added a strip of the gray paper and adhered the sentiment.
Both cards were made with my November's counterfeit kit.

A CAS birthday card

I had some paper leftover from my Heroes layout, so I made a CAS card, with my November's counterfeit kit.
The sketch is sketch #411 from Freshlymade sketches:
For the inspiration I followed the moodboard from Double D challenges, of neutral fall colors:
I was inspired by the lots of white, mixed with gray and touches of mustard, such a soft and subtle palette!
It also goes for the challenge at Seize the Birthday (I didn't use the topping).

Design a Live You Love - a CAS card

CAS (clean & simple) style is very challenging for me, but lately I discovered I kind of like it...
This is my card for two challenge - one is a color challenge and the other a sketch CAS challenge.

CAS(e) This Sketch has a very very clean and simple sketch to follow:
I combined it with Color Throwdown #569 challenge:
I really love this colors together.
The stamp is Kaisercraft's.

My heroes - Scrap The Boys

This my layout for November's challenge at Scrap The Boys, with the theme 'Super Hero':
Obviously, I have not one, but two super heroes. Not only they are really super duper boys, but they also dragged me into the world of Super Heroes, and now I'm totally addicted to all Marvel movies...
So here are my two superheroes:
The photo was taken about 7 years ago (gosh... how time flies!), at the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem. They climbed the Moma Bear and her Baby bear sculpture, feeling very super heroes making to the top.

I used my November's Counterfiet kit. I also use my handmade pp with the pine trees, from September's Counterfeit kit. I finally found a project that I could use this paper, as I loved it very much.

Here're some close-ups on the details:

Would you like to know what I've made with the left over papers from this project? Well, hop again soon and you'll find out!
