Counterfeit Kit projects

Hello dear friends, a quick post, just to share some projects I've made with my January Counterfeit Kit.
First is a mini package, milk carton design. I used Pootless' tutorial, which you can find HERE. And this is my version:

Second is another milk carton shape package, but this time it's larger. I used Yael's tutorial for this one, and you can find it HERE (it's in Hebrew, but you can figure out how to make it from the photos).

I'm trying to use up more and more of my scraps, so I used scraps from these two projects, and made 3 simple greeting cards for the holidays:
I wasn't sure how much of my CKC kit I'll be using, as I'm very busy at this period of my life, but at the end of this month, I'm happy to see that I've made 2 layouts, 2 otp projects and 3 cards from this kit!
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments very much.

Be Yourself

Hello crafty friends, today I'm sharing a mixed media card I've made, inspired by two moodboards:
I was inspired by the dark shades against the crystal blue, and by the snow.
I was inspired by the sketch, the snow, and by the touch of purple.
I've used many 13@rts beautiful products - papers, stencil, clear gesso, violet mist, microsphere beeds and a sticker.
I also used Lindy's Gang Pure White embossing powder and some Finnabair's mini art stones.
Here're some close-ups on the details:

Together Forever - CSI case file no. 270

Hello dear friends and welcome to my blog.
I'm sharing my DT layout for case file no. 270 at CSI, with this beautiful photo inspiration:
Once again I've used my January Counterfeit Kit, but added some diy embellishments.
I was very inspired by the color scheme, and used a photo of myboys playing. The photo was taken on our vacations, 4.5 years ago. So much happened since that photo was taken...
My clues were: woodgrain, branches, flowers, clock and brush lettering.
I started by stamping here & there with 49 & Market Pascale's writhing stamp with gray ink and a MME stamp with brown ink. Then I used Lindy's Tainted Love Teal spray, and some splatters with Lindy's Steampunk Sepia spray.
The flowers were stamped with anoter MME stamp on a heavy whiegh watercolor paper, using a Ranger's ink (Yeallo Chrome), then I fussy cut them and added an enamel dots in brown.
The leaves were made in two versions. the bigger ones I die cut with my Big shot, and then embossed with Lindy's Spring Leaf Chartreuse ep. For the smaller leaves I stamped on a watercolor paper, fussy cut and colored with Lindy's Aloha Avocado spray.
For the branches I die cut a watercolor paper and colored with Lindy's Steampunk Sepia spray. I really love the shimmer look on the branches!
I also stamped a Kaisercraft's clock stamp on a gray cs with Ranger's ink (cornflower blue, which has a grayish blue color).
As for the title, I used Creative Embellishment chipboard, first covered with Finnabair white gesso and the heat embossed with two Lindy's ep - Twilight Blue Slate and Byzantine Bronze. I love the two colored effect on the chippboard:
The sub title was stamped and mounted on a woodgrain pp, embellished with a stamped arrow, a flower, leaves and branches.
for the final touch I added some enamel dots in coordinating colors.

And here's the full layout once again:

Follow Your Dreams - a layout for CSI case file no. 269

on the spotlight at MTW

As I found my mojo (finally), I could make a layout for the new case file at CSI, case file no. 269, with this inspiration photo:
The colors of the scene reminded me my photo taken at Disneyland Paris almost 3 years ago, and I used the clues of stripes, stitching (faux), flowers, decorative border, cursive font and a bow. I used the IW 'Wishes' for my journaling, which documents how traveling to Disneyland Paris was for us a dream come true, and my wishes for 2019, to be a year that we will fulfill more of our dreams.
I used my January CKC kit, and used almost all my diy embellishments (yehhh for me!).
This lo is out of my comfort zone in a way - I rarely use these colors, and my layouts are usually much more colorful. this one is quite pale, with lots of white and black. it was so nice experiencing something new, not the usual style.
I used Lindy's Gang sprays for the splatters: Cocoa Bean Copper, Milk Chocolate Brown, Clam Bake Beige and Chateau Rose. I also used Oom Pah Pah ep partly on the Creative Embellishments' leaves chipbord. I really love the effect of the partly embossed chippies.
Papers are from P13, Reprint and DCWV. For the stamping on the background I used 49 and Market's stamp (Pascale's grammar) and Blue Fern stamp (Arkadia).
Here're some close ups on the details:

I would like to enter this lo to 2 challenges:
More Than Words - Goals and Journaling:
Like I wrote above, my wish, and goal, for this year is to make more of our dreams come true, live full our lives.

Follow Your Dreams - Counterfeit Kit Challenge January 2019

I have a confession - I lost my mojo :(. maybe it's the winter, maybe it's the (too) much hours spent it work. I don't know, I just lost it.
But then I saw the new Counterfeit Kit, and boom! I felt my creative juices flow again.
The funny thing is that the Felicity Jane kit they're counterfeiting is far away from my usual style... LOL it called Hannah, and it's very girly one:
I started working my usual way when I play with CKC - sorting the patterns, the colors and the embellishments in the original kit, and then looking for items from my stash that can fit.
The colors are very soft - pink, pale blue, grayish blue, white, black and brown.
I found some dp in my stash that can match with colors and patterns, but the real fun was counterfeiting the embellishments.
I used stamps of leaves, flowers and an arrow, with black and other colors of inks and then fussy cut the shapes, leaving a white border.
For the prhases it black hand writing with white edges, I used some dies and I really like how it came out.
Instead of black scalloped washi tape, I used a decorative border die and cut two stripes - one in black and the other in pale gray.
I also made two pink bows from silk ribbon and made a bow and a knot from dark blue ribbon on paper clips.
Here are my counterfeited embellishments:
I also added some pre-made die cuts, molds, doilies, baker's twine and flair buttons.
Here are all the embellies:

And my whole kit - "Follow Your Dreams':

I'm already working on a layot from this kit... how fun.
