האתגר השלישי של צרויה, במסגרת חגיגת שנה לעסק שלה, היה בסימן הקיט "חלומות שמורים". את הפוסט שלה היא הכתירה בכותרת "חלומות מתגשמים". שני הביטויים הללו התרוצצו אצלי, והצירוף של שניהם הדהד גם כן. כמו באתגרים הקודמים, גם כאן היו כמה וכמה רעיונות, ובסופו של דבר, באיזו מקריות נתפסתי לתמונה הזאת, של הבכור כשהיה כבן 3, ישן במיטתו.

הביטוי "חלומות שמורים" עורר בי את הזכרון על האופן בו הייתי מרדימה אותו כשהיה תינוק ופעוט. הוא היה אוחז באצבעי או בכף ידי, ולא מרפה עד שנרדם לגמרי. כל ניסיון שלי לשחרר את ידי קודם לכן, היה נתקל בפקיחת עיניו ובהידוק האחיזה. ידעתי וכבר מראש ויתרתי.

עד היום, כשאני משכיבה לישון את הילדים, אני מגרשת את החלומות הרעים ב"קישטה חלומות רעים!" ומאחלת להם חלומות פז.

וכשיש חלומות רעים, או שבוכים וקוראים לי או שבאים אלי, ואני שם, לחבק, לנחם ולהרגיע, ושוב לגרש את החלומות הרעים. שומרת עליהם גם בחלומותיהם.

וכך, ה"חלומות השמורים" עוררו את ההשראה לתעד את הטקסיות הזאת, של ההשכבה לישון, ושל הצורך שלהם בהגנה גם בחלום. מ"חלומות שמורים" ל"שמור בחלומך"....

התזתי גלימר מיסט על הקארדסטוק הלבן, כדי לתת אווירה חלומית וערפילית. הדפים המדוגמים הם של OCTOBER AFTERNOON, קישוטים של COSMO CRICKET והאותיות של 'תוצרת הארץ'. כמה פרפרים מפונצ'צ'ים, תפירה ידנית, פס בורדר והדבקת רצף של פרחים קטנים - והדף מוכן.

הדף לאתגר הרביעי של צרויה, על אהבה בסוף הקיץ, כבר בשלבי הכנה....

A photo of my eldest, when he was almost 3 y old, sleepin in his bed. The journaling is about the way I used put him to bed and about what I said (and still saying...) when he had bad dreams. The title says, in Hebrew - "Protected in your dream".

Forest Elves - lo

A photo of my boys, walking in the forest on Carmel Mountains. I thought they looked like little elves :)).
The die cut dp is Little Yellow Bycicle (from Twig collection); the pink dp are Basic Grey and Echo Park; the pompon ribbon is Fancy Pants (Beach Bumb collection); The flowers are hand made - I used glimmer mist on a white cs, punched and layered; on the center I placed rolled flowers (made according to Wintam's tutorial).

I used #104 sketch from Tuesday Trio, with the theme magic:

דף מעוצב שהכנתי לפי סקיצה 104 של 'שלוש בשלישי. שיניתי מעט את הסקיצה, במיוחד לאור זאת שהבסיס שלי היה דף עגול ולא מרובע. מעבר לכך, נשארתי נאמנה למדי לסקיצה.
מעבר לדף הבסיס העגול, כל יתר הדפים שהשתמשתי בהם הם שאריות. את הפרחים המגולגלים הכנתי לפי ההדרכה של Wintam.

האתגר הנלווה היה "קסם", ולכן בחרתי בתמונה של שני הבנים שלי, מטיול שעשינו ממש לאחרונה באחד מהשבילים ביערות הכרמל. המראה שלהם, לבושים בקפוצ'ונים ועם המגפיים, מקפצים בשביל בתוך החורש העבות - העלה בי אסוציאציה של שדוני יער קטנים וחמודים. קסום, לא?
הצבעים של הדף היו לפי פלטת הצבעים של The Color Room, ולמרות שזו לכאורה פלטת צבעים "נשית", היא התאימה בעיני לדף הזה, כי הצבעים שבה 'מדברים' נפלא עם צבעי התמונה עצמה.

כשצרויה העלתה את האתגר השני שלה, אתגר "אביב", היו לי כמה וכמה רעיונות מה לעשות לאתגר הזה. אחד מהם היה מסגרת מעוצבת, עם פרחים מקופלים לפי ההדרכה הנפלאה של WINTAM, כביטוי לפריחה המתפרצת באביב.

לקחתי קנבס שהכין צעיר הבנים לפני כשנה בגן. הוא כבר בכיתה א', אז אני מניחה שזה בסדר למחזר, לא?... כיסיתי בשכבת ג'סו ואח"כ צבעתי בשתי שכבות של צבע אקרילי. יישנתי את הקצוות עם דיו והחתמתי כמה חותמות. כרקע הדבקתי דף של Webster's Pages. הפרחים הוכנו מדפים מדוגמים ששכנו להם בקופסת השאריות (מרביתם של בייסיק גריי) וכך גם העלים הגזורים ביד.

've made this frame from a canvas my youngest made in the kindergarten a year ago. Well, he already at 1st grade, so I guess it's okay to re-use it, right? LOL

I didn't take a photo how it was, cause I've already covered it with gesso long time ago. Here's a photo of how it looked all covered with gesso:

I took several dp I've got in my scrap box (most of them are Basic Grey) and made the rolled flowers, according to this wonderful tutorial. A few stamps and Thickers letters, and that's it.

באווירה החורפית הקרירה, דף על ביקור בחרמון, לפני כמעט 5 שנים, ובנוסף כרטיס קצת וינטאג'י (טוב, אחרי סדרת כרטיסים נו"פ, הגיע הזמן, לא?).

גם בדף וגם בכרטיס - כל הדפים המדוגמים הם שאריות מפרוייקטים קודמים. חלק מהשאריות ממש 'טריות' וחלקן חיכו בסבלנות לתורן בקופסת השאריות. העיגול של הג'ורנלינג הוא מיקסום של השארית, כי השתמשתי בשני צידיה של שארית ממנה חתכתי עיגול ומתוכו גזרתי מעין עיגול נוסף, הוספתי מתחת דוילי וכך יצרתי את השכבות. העננים הם שארית קטנטנה שפונצ'צ'ה בפאנץ' פרח, וגזרתי באמצע, לצורת ענן.

I've two cards I'd like to share with you, both of them with 'thinking of you' stamp I just got from The Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps.

שני כרטיסים עם אותה חותמת כיתוב ואותו נושא, רק אחד גברי במראה והשני נשי. בשניהם השתמשתי (שוב) בשאריות מהקופסא הבלתי נגמרת (טוב, איך היא תגמר, רק לאחרונה השתמשתי בדפים חדשים לדפי אלבום וכך נוספו להם עוד שאריות לקופסא...).

שני ההכרטיסים הללו, בגלל ששניהם בסגנון נו"פ, נוצרו במהירות יחסית - התאמת השאריות, כמה החתמות, חיתוכים ושני כרטיסים נוספו.

Me and my friend, Winnie the Pooh - lo and two thank you cards

A very CAS lo, maybe one of the most CAS I've ever done. I used #102 sketch from Tuesday Trio, with the twist - winter:

The photo is of my elsdest, when he was almost 3Y old, and the journaling is about his love for his buddy, Winnie The Pooh. He used to take Winnie everywhere - kindergarten, grandma, friends, etc. Winnie was his guardian angel at nights.

I did some mix & match from different manufacuters: Glitz Designs, October Afternoon, LillyBee Designs and Authentique.

My inspiration for the colors of this lo came, naturally , from the photo itself, but it is also kind of homage to my friend, KarinD., a very talented lady, one of the DT at Tuesday Trio. She LOVES the color orange, and her style is very CAS. I get a lot of inspiration from her work, and this lo was very inspired by her work. Thank you, Karin!

The 2nd card, a little bit larger, also for a challenge from 365Cards, this time day 330 'I've got it covered' - cover the background with at least 2 different pp and make sure they don't overlap:

It also goes for the recipe challenge at Frosted Designs, which asked to use 3 pp, 2 buttons and 1 word for the title. I used dp from October Afternoon (the orange one) and Glitz (the bluish and the yellowish).

דף מעוצב ושני כרטיסים, והכל בסגנון נו"פ. ההשראה, לסגנון ולצבעים, באה מקרין ד., שאת עבודותיה אני מאד אוהבת. כשאני רואה את העבודות המינימליסטיות שלה, אני מרגישה קצת תסכול - בד"כ אני לא יכולה להסתפק בקווים הנו"פ ובמינימליזם של קישוטים. תעיד על כך קרין עצמה, במפגש יצירה שלנו, כשהוספתי עוד ועוד פרחים עשויים ביד :)).

הפעם באמת שהשתדלתי לשמור על נו"פ. אני מקווה שהצלחתי.

ההשראה לצבעי הדף באה בראש ובראשונה, באופן טבעי, מהתמונה עצמה. אבל בחירת הדפים המדוגמים הייתה גם מעין הומאז' לקרין, הן לאהבתה לצבע הכתום והן ליכולתה המדהימה (בעיני) לשלב את הכתום עם גווני הכחול ועם צהוב. אז ניסיתי גם :)).

התמונה היא של בני בכורי, כשהיה כבן 3, והדף מתעד את אהבתו ל'חברו הטוב' פו הדב. פו הלך איתו לכל מקום - לגן, לסבתא, לחברים, וכמובן - ליווה אותו בשמירה צמודה ונאמנה בשינה בלילה (לא, זה לא עזר לשנת לילה שקטה ורצופה... רק בסביבות גיל 4 הוא החל לישון לילות רצופים, אלא שאז כבר הצטרף לחינגה צעיר הבנים, וזה לקח עוד משהו כמו שנתיים-שלוש-ארבע-חמש עד שהתחלתי לישון לילות שקטים ורצופים...).

הדף ואחד הכרטיסים - עפ"י סקיצות של שלוש בשלישי. האותיות בכולם - 'תוצרת הארץ' של רחלי גזית ומסטיקים.

I've made this lo for the Glitz January challenge, which is this photo for inpiration:

I was inpired by the soft colors - greenish, yellowish and white. I was also inpired by the frosty look, so I added some stickles and glitter on my yellowish flowers.

I was also inpired by #94 color palette at The Color room, also with green, yellow, grey and white:

I used mostly Glitz dp (Vintage Blue collection & Dance in the sunshine collection), that I won at Artful Delight about a month ago (thanks again, Leeanne!). I really love these papers! I also used some scraps I had from older projects and made the big flowers and the greenish leaves.

I laced the dp with yellow baker's twine I got as a New Year's gift from the generous KarenW (thank you so much Karen!). The date is Authentique. the title - My Little Shoebox.

The photo is me, when I was a student, and I studied hard for an exam.
I was inspired by the beautiful creations of some very talented ladies: Gabrielle Pollacco, Lisa Gregory, Ingvild Bolme, Stacy Cohen, Pascale Bernard and Delaina Burns. Thank you, ladies, for so much inspiration!

צעיר הבנים א-ו-ה-ב (מאד. מאד.) את הצבע הכחול. עד כדי כך שהוא גם נתן לו כינוי חיבה "כחולחול". הוא מאד שמח כשאני נותנת לו בבוקר סווטשירט של בית ספר בצבע כחול, והרבה פחות מרוצה עם הצבעים האחרים. גם המצעים במיטתו, כשהם בגווני הכחול, משמחים את ליבו עד מאד. הבנתם את הרעיון, נכון? אין צורך להמשיך ולפרט (כן, כן, זה מתייחס גם להלבשה התחתונה :)))...).

לכן, כשצרויה העלתה את האתגר שלה "אהבה", היה לי ברור מייד שאכין לאתגר הזה דף על אהבתו של הילדון לצבע הכחול. התמונה שנבחרה לככב היא תמונת התכשיט שלי, צוהל כולו, מבצבץ מתוך טנק (כחול, כמובן) ב"יד לשריון" בלטרון. כשהגענו לתערוכה הזאת ביום העצמאות האחרון, לא היה קץ לשמחתו כשגילה שבין כל הטנקים שמוצגים שם כשלל מהסורים, מצוי גם הטנק הכחול הזה (וגם עוד כמה פריטים בצבע הזה...). הוא קפץ והשתולל משמחה ולא יכול היה להרגע מרוב התלהבות. הקיף את הטנק מכל עבריו, עלה וירד, נכנס ויצא. בקיצור - היה קשה מאד לנוע הלאה...

דף על אהבה לצבע הכחול חייב להיות בגווני כחול, נכון? אבל לא רק כחול. את ההשראה להוסיף לגווני הכחול למיניהם בדפים המדוגמים מאטינג בצבע קראפט/חום קיבלתי מדפי הקיט 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה (כן, כן. אותו קיט בלתי נגמר, אשר השימוש בדפיו הוא מאד מושכל ומחושב). ואכן שאריות דפים מהקיט הזה שימשו גם בדף הזה, ביחד עם קרטון גלי של אריזה כלשהי, צבוע בצבע אקרילי כחלחל, וסרטים עם תיפורים (ראיתם כמה הם תואמים את הדפים המדוגמים? מדהים). את המאטינג קראפט העברתי בבורדר פאנצ' בצורת גדר ברזל.

על הקארדסטוק הלבן עבדתי עם מסיכה של קיר לבנים ודיו דיסטרס כחול, ובצד השני התזתי גלימר מיסט כחול על כוכבים שגזרתי ושימשו לי גם כן כמסיכה. חותמת לג'ורנלינג ועוד שתי חותמות של מילים, כולן מוחתמות בדיו דיסטרס כחול.

האותיות לכותרת נגזרו מקנסון בצבע כחול עז (כמובן...), וכדי לתת להן את הדגש הראוי, הודבקו בדבק תלת מימד על קארדסטוק לבן, ושוב מאטינג בקראפט.

Scraps card in pink and green

This week's sketch at CardPatterns was so perfect for using my scrap box:

And it goes great with the challenge of day 322 at 365Cards, feeling scrappy, which asked to use 3 different dp and 2 cs, and aside from the cs base, all papers had to be scraps. There are 3 dp - Echo Park (Victoria Gardens collection - I used both sides of this dp), BasicGrey (Porcelaine collection) and K&Co. (the folded flower). The two cs are the plum cs for the basis (it's also a leftover from a lo I've done lately) and the white cs (the lace punched stripe, the punced butterfly and the stripe with the sentiment). I hand stitched the pp and added a transparent brad to the center of the flower.

כרטיס משאריות - חלקן חדשות (הקארדסטוק של הבסיס, הקארדסטוק הלבן והדף הירוק מדף מעוצב שהכנתי לפני מספר ימים), וחלקן ישנות (הדף הורוד והפרח המקופל, שהוכן כבר מזמן וחיכה בסבלנות בתוך קופסת הקישוטונים). הסקיצה פשוט הזמינה שימוש בשאריות, ואיך יכולתי לסרב?....

The Bench

My & my BFF, sitting on the bench nearby the Thames, way back on 1990. We were students and we went for a travel in London. The gournaling is about our habbit to sit on the bench, relax and enjoy a good 'girls talk'. Since that travel, we use this phrase "sitting on the bench' to describe girls talk, and the journaling is all about it. Our 'bench talks' are some of my most fav things in life and I cherish them a lot.

I've made this lo for the photo inspiration challenge at BoBuuny, with this photo as inspiration:

I was inspired by the browns and blues colors, with white, all in subtle colors. I was also inspired by the quite and peaceful scene, with the little girl sitting by the bed. All the dp are BoBunny - EtCetera collection and Timepiece collection.

For the design and tripes of dp and paper lace, I was inspired by Zoe's beautiful layout and tutorial at My Creative Scrapbook. I also used a small circular chipboard, above the photo, for the place and date.

I've made all the flowers here, a doily I crocheted and the paper blooms, punched and distressed.

The frame is Imaginarium's chipboard, painted with gesso and then inked with blue distress ink and brown ink, all covered with some stickles.

בחזרה לדפי וינטאג', מרובי שכבות.. תמונה שלי עם חברתי הטובה ביותר, בטיול שלנו בלונדון לפני המון שנים. באותו טיול 'ייסדנו' את מוסד הספסל שלנו - ישיבה משותפת ושיחת בנות. המושג הזה מלווה אותנו מאז ועד היום (אפשר להחליף את הספסל על גדת התמזה בכסאות בית קפה חביב... העיקר שמתקיימת שיחת בנות).

So Sweet

It was sad to read that Sketchy Thursdays is closing. I really loved their sketches and there was so much inpiration from the talented DT, and this week is no exception. Here's the sketch:

All papers on my lo, except the white cs of course, are scraps. I also did some recycling - the blue corrugated cardboard is part from a package I got long time ago, and all the kraft leaves and maating are from a sheet I got as a warpping of a dp kit. The small yellow flowers were made from used dryer sheet, misted with glimmer mist.

The big yellow flower was made from layers of two different punched flowers, that I crumpled. on the top I adhered some layers of a tiny punched flowers.

The 'clouds' are actually punched flowers, cut into the shape of clouds. Here's a close-up:

The title says, in Hebrew, "So Sweet", and the photo is of my youngest, about 4.5 years ago. Isn't this photo the sweetest? (and the boy sure is the sweetest....).

This lo is also for the inspiration challenge at Scrap For Help, where they asked to be inspierd by the work of the talented Danielle Flanders, and use recycled items.

I was inpired by the subtle colors of Danielle's work, with the browns, shades of yellow and blue. my recyeled items, as I mentioned before, are the corrugated cardboard, the kraft wrapping sheet and the used dryer sheet.

A (very) girly & pinky layout

Being a mom of two boys, I hardly make girly/pinky layouts, but the new color combo at The ColorRoom caught my eyes and I knew right away I'll be using the photo of my BFF's daughter and me, years ago. I also knew that my new Echo Park dp (Victoria Gardens) I got as a prize from Leeanne at Artful Delight, with it's pink/green colors, is the perfect one to use here. Here's the palette:

This lo is mix&match cs, dp and the embellies - K&Co.; Echo Park; Basic Grey; American Crafts; Prima. I just pulled out my stash with the right colors and then started working them together.
A lot of fussy cutting; stitching (real on the pink cs, faux on the plum cs); distressing.
For the light green strips, I used Fiskars border punch, and then strung two embroidery strings through the holes; on the connection points I adhered pearls.

כאמא לשני בנים, אני לעיתים רחוקות ונדירות מכינה דפי אלבום ורודים ונשיים, אלא שהפעם שילוב הצבעים ב-The ColorRoom פשוט קרץ לי. ידעתי שאשתמש בתמונה שלי עם הבת הבכורה של חברתי הטובה ביותר ובדף חדש (יחסית) של Echo Park, אותו קיבלתי כחלק מפרס ענקי ונדיב ביותר.

Let's party! - a lo and a card

A photo of my youngest and me, celebrating the end of the 1st year at the daycare.

I used Abby's great sketch at Artful Delight:

I also got the inspiration for the colors from the current Artful Delight kit (I don't have it, I just loved the papers Leeanne gathered for this kit), and especially from Debbie's layout and June's card (you should go and look at their gorgeous creations!).

For the faux paper lace frame of the heart shape, I was inspired by Suzanne's tutorial at The Paper Variety.

I used BasicGrey kraft cs and the other dp are from Summer Seeds kit (still got some papers from this beautiful collection).

בדרך כלל כרטיסים הם נלווים אצלי להכנה של דפי אלבום מעוצבים, משתמשת בשאריות של הדפים המעוצבים להכנת כרטיסים. לאחרונה קצת נעלמה לה מוזת הדפים שלי, ובמקומה התנחלה מוזת 'כרטיסים משאריות'. הפעם הכנתי קודם כל את הכרטיס, שבא בעקבות השראה מכרטיס שראיתי ברשת ומאד מצא חן בעיני בשילוב של הקראפט עם אדום, כחול עז ומאטינג שחור. השתמשתי בסקיצה מ'שלוש בשלישי, והיה נחמד לראות שציקוש השתמשה באותו דף מדוגם בצבע כחול עז, בו התכוונתי גם אני להשתמש :)). הטוויסט באתגר היה להשתמש בשאריות. נו, אני ממילא במוזת כרטיסי השאריות :))). הדף הכחול עז הוא שארית ממחברת סקראפית שהכנתי לחברה והשאריות בצבע אדום וכחול (שני צדדים של אותו דף) הם מהמיני אלבום שסיימתי להכין לפני מספר ימים.
אחרי שהכנתי את הכרטיס, גם באה ההשראה לדף המעוצב. שילוב הצבעים הזה צעק לי: 'זרעי קיץ', 'זרעי קיץ', ולשמחתי הרבה יש לי עוד דפים מהקיט המקסים הזה, וכך נוצר לו הדף.

האמת היא שהתמונה הזאת, של צעיר הבנים ושלי במסיבת סיום השנה של השנה הראשונה במעון, יושבת אצלי כבר זמן רב ממתינה בסבלנות לדף המעוצב שלה. איכשהו לא השתלב לי שום דבר בדפים המדוגמים שהיו לי מול העיניים, והנה פתאום, מכרטיס שהכנתי, באה ההשראה.

עכשיו נשארו שאריות מהדף המעוצב... זה אומר שהמפלס בקופסת השאריות לא רק שלא יורד, אלא עולה... אז כנראה שבקרוב יהיו עוד כרטיסים :))).

2011 - a year in review

2011 have come to it's end and 2012 have started. I've had a very creative year - 139 layouts, 37 cards, 12 mini albums (13 if I caount the latest, which I completed but haven't poste yet), 7 other projects and 5 step-by-step tutorials.

I love looking back and see what I've made - it gives me an opporuity to see how my work evolved, what do I like more, what I'd like to change.

I think one of the most important changes that happened to my scrapping was making more and more CAS designs (layouts and cards).

Anyway, I tried to narrow my choises, and it was quite hard... LOL So here are my 2011 fav works:

January:

'Snow all over my city' - love the subtle colors and the warm feeling in contrast of the snowy theme.

'Me & My Friend' - love the naive look, with the CAS design.

'A day at the zoo' exploding box - love, love, love this kind of projects, and I've made a tutorial how to make it (check 'my tutorial' page).

Blue sea, white mountain' mini album - love the grungy look, the use of corrugated cardboard and paint.

February:

'We'll allways have Paris' mini album - love the vintage design, the embellies, and it is dear to me cause I've lost all the photos from that fab vacation, so I'm so happy I have this mini album to capture those moments.

March:

I didn't make anything new...

April:

Joker - love the use of the green felt and the playing card, and how the whole design matches the photo.

'A Family Matter' mini album - love the cheerful design, the mini mini albums that inside, that holds so many photos on one mini album.

May:

Cool! - love the colors and the circles.

'You're not that beauty when you cry' - love the vingage look, the cork embelliesh, the monochromatic.

love the elegant look and the bows on the ribbon.

June:

'Bikkurim' - love the vintage, the crocheted frame, the white background.

'Hanging around together' - love the CAS design (and the photo :))...)

'Vacation in Alania' - love the colors (and I don't do yellow usually!), the CAS design, the stitching.

August:

'The big sea 2005' - love the CAS design, the doilies with the dp on them, the buttons flowers.

'Pose!' - love the masking, the colors, the vintage design.

'A perfect day is...' - love the vintage look, the colors and the embellies.

Two vintage cards, very different one from each other. love them both for the vintage design and the colors of each one of them.

Altered boxes - love the papers and the color combo, but especially I love the fact that I've made it all for me...

September:

'4th grade' - love the colros and the graphic design (note to myself - should try more of this style in the future).

'Sweet memories' - love the colors, the masking and stamping, the vintage look.

Happy New Year card - love the use of scraps, the doily and the colors.

October:

'True Beauty' - love the colors, the masking, the tearing, the bling.

Joy - love the rolled flowers, the colors, the altered chopboard alphas and the circle frame.

'You & Me' - love the vintage look, the fussy cutting, the dark background which makes the photo pop.

November:

Tickles - love the colors, the corrugated cardboard, the masking.

'The sand & the sea' - love the color combo, the vingage look, the brackets cut, the accordion flower.

'For you' card - again, love the color combo, the tearing and the accordion flower.

A birtthday card - love the colors and the elegant look.

Winter 2011-12 mini album - love the colors, the painting and stamping, and the recycling.

A card I've made for Day 302 at 365Cards - a masculine card with a touch of pink. it was indeed challenging, but I've already made some boyish layouts with pink, so it was okay... I kept the pink really only as a 'touch', with 2 tiny pink pearls.

I've made it very CAS, for Cas-ualfridays, which asked for a CAS card, with kraft and twine.

It's the end of 2011, but I hope I'll be able to finish another mini album I've been working on lately, so it will still be one of my 2011's projects, and then I'll make my 'Year In Review' post...

שני כרטיסים נוספים שהכנתי אתמול. הראשון גברי במראה, לאתגר שביקש כרטיס גברי עם נגיעה של ורוד. השארתי נגיעה מאד מינימליסטית של ורוד - שתי פנינים ורודות זעירות. השתמשתי גם בסרט תיפורים מקסים (בעיני... וכנראה שגם בעיני קרין :)))...) ובמיקבץ כפתורים בצבעים שתואמים את הכרטיס (ההשראה שלי לאחרונה לשימוש המרובה בכפתורים בכרטיסים הוא מצרויה וקרין. אני פשוט מוקסמת מהאופן בו הן משלבות את הכפתורים בעבודות שלהן), וכמה פינצ'וצ'י עלים באפור, שנשארו לי בקופסת הפינצ'וצ'ים מפרוייקט שהכנתי לפני למעלה מחודש.

שנת 2011 מתקרבת לקיצה, ואני מאד מקווה שאספיק עוד היום לסיים מיני אלבום שעליו אני עובדת פה ושם בתקופה האחרונה, כדי לכלול אותו גם בפרוייקטים של שנת 2011 המסתיימת. פיזרתי כבר רמזים בעבר על המיני אלבום הזה, הוא כולו קיצי וניחוש באיזה ניירות מדוגמים השתמשתי.... (אין לי ספק שקוראות נאמנות של הבלוג הזה ינחשו בקלילות...).

אחרי שאשלים את המיני הזה, יגיע התור לפוסט סיכום סקראפי של 2011 (אבל אולי הוא כבר יתפרסם בראשית 2012.... הילדים הזמינו אותי לסרט ופופקורן, איזה כיף!).

Same colors, same papers, different cards

I had some leftovers on my desk, from some projects I've done lately, so I decided to use them for some cards.

For the 1st card, I used this scketch from The Prickley Pear rubber stamps:

I've changed it a little and made it my own, but I think you can still see the sketch. The turquoise paper is one I've made myself, and I stamped it with American Crafts stamp. The bird is 7Gypsies stamp, and I used two inks to get the turquoise color.

Once again I used dp I've made myself (the bluish background and the scalloped circle). the other dp are Cosmo Cricket, Stamperia and MME. The heart stamp is Unity.

Because the 2nd card turned out so dark, I decided on this one to make it brighter. I used scrap stripes of the dp I've already used, AC stamp, baker's twine and some buttons from my collection.

מתקפת כרטיסים משאריות :)), ניצול של שאריות דפים שנשארו מפרוייקטים עליהם עבדתי לאחרונה, כך שכולם עם אותו שילוב צבעים, אם כי הם שונים למדי אחד מהשני. חלק מהדפים המדוגמים בהם השתמשתי הם דפים שהכנתי בעצמי. ההחתמות בשני הכרטיסים הראשונים נעשו תוך שימוש בשני צבעים שונים של דיו, אחד ע"ג השני, כך שבסופו של דבר התקבל צבע טורקיז.

Cheerios - lo

I've made this lo for the 3rd sketch challenge ate My Creative Sketches. Here's the sketch:

I've made some changes from the original sketch, but I think that you can still see the original.

The photo is of my youngest, about 5 years ago. Cheerios was my kids' fav snack, the plain one, without sugar or honey. I used to have small bags with them everywhere... LOL

Some of the dp I used on this lo were made by me - the pale blue one (misting with glimmer mist and then I stamped with Unity stamp) and the background one (here's a "how to make it" that shows how to create your own dp). I also made the frame for the photo from AC stamps and then fussy cutting around the frame. Here are some close ups:

Homemade frame, homemade dp, liquid pearls around the photo, distressing, layers and stitching:

a tip: when you put some layers and stitch, stitch the cs before you put your layers, and then adhere the layers. it will make stitching much easyer.

Tearing, rolling outside the other side of the paper (actually the 'other side' is a different piece of white cs, that I inked with two different inks to give it the stonewash look):

I also made the flowers - from a gauze misted with glimmer mist, and adhered on a scallop punched cs. I decorated the scalloped circle with stickles and the center of the flowers with Prima's 'say it in pearls' embellies:

התמונה היא של צעיר הבנים, לפני כ-5 שנים, אוכל צ'יריוס משקית, בגבעת הרקפות. צ'יריוס מהסוג הפשוט, זה בלי הסוכר והדבש, היה החטיף המועדף והעיקרי של ילדי. באותה תקופה היו לי שקיות עם צ'יריוס בכל מקום אפשרי (ובלתי אפשרי...).

את חלק מהדפים שאיתם עבדתי - הכנתי בעצמי. הדף התכול עם הכיתוב החום הוא קארדסטוק לבן, עליו התזתי גלימר מיסט והחתמתי עם חותמת מילים של UNITY; הקארדסטוק בבסיס (מציץ מהקרעים) עבר טיפול מסיבי (הנה קישור להדרכה איך הכנתי זאת). גם את המסגרת לתמונה הכנתי בעצמי, עם חותמות של AMERICAN CRAFTS. הדפים המדוגמים הנוספים הם של MME ו-COSMO CRICKET.

הפרחים הוכנו מגילגול של תחבושות שעליהן התזתי גלימר מיסט, וקישטתי מסביב לעיגול עם סטיקלס ואת מרכזי הפרחים עם קישוטים של PRIMA.
הטיפ שלי לתפירת דפים בשכבות - לתפור את הקארדסטוק לפני שמדביקים את השכבות. זה מקל על התפירה (במיוחד אם היא ידנית).

How to make your own dp איך להכין דף מדוגם

Supplies:

white cs

distress inks (I used TH's tea dye and vintage photo)

baby wipes

spraying bottle with water

glimmer mists (I used Tattered Angeles' mint chocolate and peacock)

Step 1:

Ink the white cs with distress ink (I used here tea dye,but forgot to place the package to take the photo...). ink it from the outside inside.

מורחים דיו דיסטרס ראשון (השתמשתי ב-tea dye) על הקארדסטוק הלבן, בתנועות מבחוץ פנימה, כך שבקצוות הדף הדיו מודגש יותר.

Step 2:

Ink with the 2nd distress ink.

מורחים את הדיו דיסטרס השני. זו התוצאה:

Step 3:

Wipe off with baby wipes.

מנגבים את הדף עם מגבון לח.

Step 4:

Spray water all over the cs. let it dry.

מתיזים מים על פני כל הדף. נותנים לדף להתייבש.

Step 5:

Spray glimmer mists (the photo shows one glimmer mist, but I used two).

מתיזים גלימר מיסט בשני גוונים (צילמתי רק אחד, אבל השתמשתי בשניים). זו התוצאה הסופית:

Wonderful You! - lo

This photo, of my beloved kids, is on of my fav photos. For a very long time this photo was on my desk at work, lightening my day and reminding me what is really importand in life. I wanted to make a lo with this photo a while back, and with the great sketch from Creative Scrappers and the beautiful Crate Paper I got as a prize from Leeanne from Artful Delight - I whipped up this lo last night. I love the spring look of it, now in the middle of the cold winter.

Here's the sketch from Creative Scrappers:

For the matting, I made a faux envelope - I misted a white cs with blue glimmer mist, inked the edges with distress ink and stamped over with several stamps. I love the way it came out and I will sure use this technique in the future.

I did a lot of fussy cutting with the flowers - from one of the Crate Paper. The butterflies were punched from MME scraps I had from previous projects. I decorated the flowers and the butterflies with rhinestones.

התמונה הזאת, של שני בני האהובים, היא אחת מהתמונות האהובות עלי ביותר. זמן רב היא הייתה על השולחן שלי בעבודה, משמחת את ליבי ומזכירה לי מה באמת חשוב בחיים. כבר זמן מה שרציתי לעצב לה דף, ועכשיו עם הסקיצה הנפלאה הזאת והדפים המקסימים של CRATE PAPER בהם זכיתי לאחרונה, הכנתי את הדף הזה.

כמאטינג לתמונה הכנתי מעטפה מזוייפת - התזתי גלימר מיסט כחול על קארדסטוק לבן, 'לכלכתי' עם דיו דיסטרס את הקצוות והחתמתי עם חותמות שונות. הפרחים כולם נחתכו בעבודת נמלים מתוך אחד הדפים היפים שקיבלתי. הפרפרים פונצ'צ'ו משאריות של דפים מדוגמים של MME שנותרו מפרוייקטים בעבר. קישטתי עם כמה אבני חן.

יצא לי דף עתיר שכבות כמו שאני אוהבת, באווירה מאד אביבית, שמח ומאיר בדיוק כמו התמונה עצמה.

דף קיצי נוסף (הכל בגלל שאני עובדת על מיני אלבום של חופשת הקיץ האחרונה שלנו...). ההשראה לצבעים באה מפלטת הצבעים של The Color Room.

הטכניקות והחומרים בהם השתמשתי - קריעה, החתמה של צבע אקרילי על ניילון פצפצים, צביעה עם צבע אקרילי על נייר הקראפט, מאטינג כפול לתמונות, דיסטרסינג, פרח מלשוניות של פחיות שתיה (הנה ההדרכה שכתבתי), כפתורים, עננים גזורים ביד חופשית מלבד, תגית של בגד, אותיות 'תוצרת הארץ' אותן תחמתי עם עט שחור, גזירת אלמנטים מדפים מדוגמים של קיט 'זרעי קיץ' של צרויה אילן והדבקתם עם דבק תלת-מימד. הדפים מהקיט של 'זרעי קיץ' היו בול בגוונים של פלטת הצבעים, עם שילוב של חום/קרם, תכלת ולבן.

A little summer breeze - a lo and a card

It's getting colder but we're having a very bright and lovely weather here, and the forecast says it's going to get a little warmer the next few days, so I'm in a summer mood :))). The photos are of my boys, playing water polo on our last summer vacation.

I've made this lo for the current lo challenge at MME, which is a sketch and any theme you like. Here's the sketch:

I turned it horizontally to fit my photos. I used AC cs - white for the basis and black for the matting,, and all dp are MME (Stella Rose collection). The title says in Hebrew: "Water Polo" , with Hebrew alphas from a local manufacturer (Mastikim). I drew the hot-air ballons in free hand and stamped with bubble wrap painted with acrylic paint.

אמנם חורף, אבל מזג האוויר יחסית חמים, והתחזית מבשרת על התחממות נוספת. אז באווירה קצת קיצית הכנתי את הדף הזה, עם תמונות של שני הבנים שלי משחקים כדור מים בחופשת הקיץ האחרונה שלנו.

דף הבסיס הלבן והמאטינג השחור - AC קארדסטוק. הדפים המדוגמים כולם MME. האותיות הן 'תוצרת הארץ' עם מאטינג שחור ומוגבהות עם דבק דו"צ. הבלונים הפורחים צוירו ביד חופשית והודבקו עם דבק דו"צ. בנוסף, החתמתי עם נייר פצפצים צבוע בצבע אקרילי.

מאחר שנותרו, כמובן, שאריות, אז הן מצאו דרכן (חלקן) לכרטיס, שגם הוא, כמו הדף, עפ"י סקיצה באתר של MME. זה כל כך נוח ופשוט להכין כרטיס מהשאריות ה'טריות מהתנור' שנותרות על שולחן העבודה.

Moments in Time - a canvas clock

This is a gift I've made for a good friend's birthday. I painted a canvas with cream acrylic paint, adhered DCWV designed cs and distressed the edges. I did a lot of fussy cutting on WP dp, and added the clock stamp and the sentiment stamp (both Inkadinkado). Wooden numbers & clock mechanism are from a local craft store. doily and punched music sheet are from my stash.

שעון על קנבס שהכנתי כמתנה לחברה טובה. צבעתי את הקנבס בצבע אקרילי בגוון קרם, הדבקתי קארדסטוק מדוגם של DCWV ויישנתי את הקצוות. הוספתי הרבה חיתוכים עדינים של אלמנטים מדפים של WP, ספרות מעץ, מנגנון שעון, מפית תחרה ועיגול מפונצ'ץ של דף תווים. לקישוט נוסף, הוספתי גם חותמת של שעון ושל כיתוב, שתיהן של INKADINKADO (ממסטיקים).

The color I used is brown/cream.

And the 3rd and last card, was made for CAS-ual Friadays, which asked for a CAS card with misting. I punched some leaves and then misted my card with glimmer mist, adhered a flower button topped with another small button.

It's all about chipboards

Here are my 10 fav layouts featuring different ways to use chipboards:

1st - Family

I used Imaginarium chipboard - I painted it with pale blue acrylic paint, and while the paint was still wet, I spread glitter powder. Here's a close up:

2nd - Snow

Imaginarium circle border chipboard, painted with silver acrylic paint and when it was dry, I spread some stickles on it. Here's a close up:

3rd - Adorable

Imaginarium butterfly chipboard, painted with distress crackle paint, and covered with golden stickles. Here's a close up:

4th - Joy

Chipboard alphas, covered with designer paper and embellished with pearls. Here's a close up:

5th - The Kiss

The big chipboard alphas, painted with homemade crackle paint (I also made a tutorial, step by step, how to make it - here); the small ones - painted with gold stickles. Here's a close up:

A round gift box

A round gift box that I've made from old cd's and corrugated sheet, so the basis of the box is all a recycle project. I've made it using this tutorial, only I didn't make the hole on the lid.

I painted the box with pale blue acrylic paint, and embellished it with ribbons, flowers and silver glittered stickers. The big blue flower on the top of the lid is handmade.

קופסת מתנה שהכנתי לפי ההדרכה הנפלאה הזאת של נגה (בשינוי קל - אצלי זו קופסת מתנה ולא לטישיו, אז השארת את המכסה שלם בלי חור במרכזו). את הקרטון הגלי צבעתי בצבע אקרילי תכלת ולכלכתי עם דיו דיסטרס. מסביב הוספתי תחרה רחבה, ועליה סרט סאטן ועליו סרט פרחים. על המכס הדבקתי פרחים שונים וסטיקרים כסופים מנצנצים. מסביב למכסה הדבקתי גם כן תחרה ומעליה סרט פרחים.

הקופסאות הללו מאד שימושיות ואני בטוחה שאכין עוד כמה וכמה כאלו.

King of the World (trust yourself)

This is my take on this week's sketch at Sketchy Thursdays:

I loved the combination of squares and circles on this one. I only switched between the journaling blocks and the photos one, and used only one photo, cut in two parts.

The frame was made from popsicle sticks, and inked with two colors of TH distress inks.

The cs is kraft basis from BasigGrey, and all the dp are also BG - Marjolaine and Oliver 6x6 pads. I really love how they match each other. The title in English is also BG alphas stickers (Stella Ruby collection).

The journaling is from the Israeli song "For Her You Are King Of The World", by Shlomo Artzi, and hence the title in Hebrew: "|King Of The World".

דף מעוצב עם תמונה של הבכור לפני כ-5 שנים. כמו אצל אמהות רבות, גם עבורי השיר הזה של שלמה ארצי, 'בשבילה אתה תמיד מלך העולם', הוא בעל משמעות עמוקה. הביצוע שלו בקונצרט לשחרורו של גלעד שליט היה מצמרר ונגע במקומות הכי רגישים.

אז גם בשבילי, הילדון שלי תמיד מלך העולם :).

כל הדפים המדוגמים, כולל דף הבסיס, הם של בייסיק גריי. המאטינג מקארדסטוק שחור, האותיות באנגלית גם כן של בייסיק גריי ואלו בעברית - 'תוצרת הארץ' של מסטיקים ורחלי גזית. המסגרת ממקלות ארטיקים. נראה שלאחרונה אני בעניין מסגרות.....

Snow - lo

We hardly have snow in Israel, and usually the great amount of it is in one place - Hermon Mt. in the north part of Israel. We went there almost 5 years ago, and the photo is of my eldest infront of the huge snowman overthere.

For this lo I was inspired by the color palette #87 The ColorRoom:

And sketch #185 Creaitive Scrappers:

The cream roses stripe on the bottom is a paper napkin I have for ages and I ironed it on the white AC cs. Since I used BG product (the alphas stickers of the title, from Oh, Baby Boy collection), I'm entering it to the 'lost and found' challenge at BasicGrey. Here's a close-up on the roses strip:

I used Imaginarium chipoard (circle border), which I painted in silver acrylic paint and then spread some stickles to make it shine. I inserted a pale blue lace inside the border:

The wood look frame was made by me from a white cs, colored with two inks:

The stamps are Unity (the branch) and HeroArt (the birdie). doily, silver flourishes, cream flowers,silver flowers, tag - are all from my stash (most of them from a local craft store).

נכון שעם גל הקור שפקד אותנו מתאים להכין דף על שלג? הילדים שלי מייחלים שיגיע אלינו קצת שלג (אם אפשר - הרבה, כדי שלא יהיה בית ספר ויוכלו להישאר בבית...). לפני כמעט 5 שנים, עת עוד התגוררנו בצפון, נסענו לטיול לחרמון, לראות ולחוש את השלג. בתמונה - הבכור ליד פסל האישלג בפתח האתר.

האתר של The Color Room בהחלט מותח את הגבולות היצירתיים שלי, עם שילובי צבעים שלעיתים אינם שגרתיים עבורי. דווקא בשילוב דומה לזה הנוכחי השתמשתי פעם בעבר, ועדיין זה איננו שילוב שכיח אצלי.

רצועת השושנים הבהירות נעשתה ע"י גיהוץ חלק של מפית ישנה על הקארדסטוק. את הבורדר של העיגולים צבעתי בצבע אקרילי כסוף ומעל פיזרתי סטיקלס למראה נוצץ. המסגרת של התמונה, בצורה של קופסת צללים, הוכנה על ידי, ונצבעה בשני צבעים של דיו, כך שהתקבל מראה של עץ משוייף/מיושן.

המסגרת, וכן חותמת הציפור - בצבע אקרילי. ההחתמה של הענף - דיו דיסטרס.

I played a little with 365 Cards, and this is my take on Day 273 Preety in Pastels. I have 4 pastel colors - green, baby blue, yellow and lavender; and if you count the ink I used, in pale brown - then you have 5 pastel colors...

Big Smiles - lo

Yellow and grey is NOT my usual color combo to scrap with, so working with this color combo is a real challenge for me. But it seems that this color combo became very trendy, and when I saw Helene's challenge, and the challenge at Burlp & Buttercups, I decided to give it a try. I would also like to enter this lo for the 'anything goes' challenges at simonsays.

I used the new sketch from Artful Delight:

I mixed and matched stuff from different manufacturers: AC white cs, dp from Glitz (Vintage Blue collection) and Authentique (Blisfull collection) - both of them were part of my prize from Leeanne at Artful Delight (along with many other beautiful dp and other embellies - thank you, Leeanne!), Basic Grey's alphas, and a stary grey dp - untitled (I've had it for very long time). Don't you just love when your supplies from different manufacturers match each other so perfectly?
I also recycled... the matting for the photo is a package of Hebrew alphas I saved, thinking I might use it for some scrapping, and since I used BG product (my title is BG - Stella Ruby collection), I'm enteting it also for BasicGrey challenge, and also for the anything goes challenge at SimonSays Stamp challenge.

I was very inspired by the talented Pascale Bernard in this lo's design. you should go and look at her stunning layouts, and her handmade flowers.

I also made my flowers. the yellow ones were made acording to Lisa's tutorial (another talented lady, with fab tutorials on her blog), only I used different punches. I love how my flowers turned out.

שילוב הצבעים של צהוב ואפור הוא בהחלט לא שילוב מצוי אצלי, אפילו לא נדיר. הוא פשוט לא קיים. משיטוט ברחבי הרשת, מסתבר שהשילוב הזה נהיה מאד טרנדי, ובעולם הסקראפ במיוחד. חברות רבות הוציאו ליינים שלמים עם שילובי הצבעים הללו.

לכן, כשנתקלתי באתגר שהעלתה מישהי שאני עוקבת אחר הבלוג שלה באופן קבוע, שביקשה את שילוב הצבעים הזה, החלטתי להיענות לאתגר ולהתמודד עם השילוב הזה.

לשמחתי, בדיוק קיבלתי חבילת פרס ענקית, שכללה המון דפים מדוגמים מליינים מאד עכשוויים, ובתוכם גם דפים בגוונים הללו, כך שהמלאכה נהייתה יותר פשוטה.

ערבבתי חומרים של חברות שונות, שהתאימו היטב אחד לשני. הקארדסטוק הלבן של AC שימש כבסיס, ועליו הדבקתי דפים של GLITZ (קולקציה מקסימה שנקראת VINTAGE BLUE) ושל AUTHENTIQUE (חברה חדשה יחסית שתופסת מעמד, הקולקציה נקראת BLISFULL). הנייר האפור עם הכוכבים, ממנו פינצ'צ'תי את העלים, הוא מחבילה ישנה נושנה מביג דיל. חדות העין מביניכן בודאי יבחינו שהמאטינג של התמונה הוא האריזה של אותיות 'תוצרת הארץ' :). הניירות עברו, כמובן, 'התעללות' מסיבית של הרטבה, קימוט, קריעה ויישון עם דיו. האותיות הן של BASIC GREY.

את ההשראה לעיצוב קיבלתי מ-Pascale, יוצרת מאד מוכשרת (שווה להיכנס לבלוג שלה ולשוטט, יש לה דפים מדהימים ופרחים יפהפיים שהיא מכינה לבד). את הפרחים הכנתי לפי ההדרכה הזאת (בלוג עם המון הדרכות נהדרות), עם התאמה לפאנצ'ים שיש לי. אני אוהבת את המראה הסמרטוטי של הפרחים הללו.

Tickles - lo

This is my take on this week's sketch at Sketchy Thursdays:

My boys are both sensitive to tickles, and on these photos the eldest was tickling the youngest to make him smile :) it worked!

In the journaling I told about their sensitivity, so much sensitive that sometimes all you need is to show them your finger coming towards them, and they start laughing loudly. With this journaling, and the multiple photos, I enter it to the photo inpiration challenge at Get Picky:

The bricks mask is self made; the matting is from corrugated cardboard and gauze; the stirps are from the buttom of MME dp that recently I've worked with (yes, I keep them too...).

את המסיכה של קיר הלבנים עשיתי בעצמי, והמאטינג של התמונה הוא מקרטון גלי ותחבושת. הכותרת משני סוגים של אותיות 'תוצרת הארץ'. הרצועות הן מיקסום של דף מדוגם של MME - אלו הרצועות שישנן בשוליים התחתונים של הדפים, היכן שמופיעים השמות של היצרן, הסידרה, ושם הדף עצמו. הדף הזה היה אצלי לאחרונה בשימוש ונותרו לי עוד פיסות קטנות אחרונות ממנו... יש סיכוי שהפיסות הללו עוד ימצאו דרכן לדף או כרטיס :)).

מסתבר שלאחרונה אני (שוב) בפלטת צבעים של חום/כחול/לבן-קרם....

נתנאלה וצוות ה-DT שלה העלו אתגר סקיצה, אותה עיצבה טניה:

סקיצה פשוטה, אבל מזמינה הרבה פרשנויות, ובאמת הדפים של צוות המעצבות יצאו שונים להפליא זה מזה. אני מאד אוהבת לראות איך מסקיצה אחת יוצאים דפים כל כך שונים זה מזה, עם פרשנויות אישיות של היוצרות. הפרשנות שלי היא עם הרבה שכבות קריעות ויישון עם דיו דיסטרס.

הכותרת של הדף, בשתי השורות, החליפה את פסי הג'ורנלינג שבסקיצה (אם בכלל הם היו לכתחילה פסי ג'ורנלינג...).

הלכתי שוב על השילוב של לבן/חום/כחול, שילוב שמככב אצלי לאחרונה, והוא גם תואם את הכותרת. התמונה היא של הבכור, כשהיה כבן חצי שנה. העיניים הגדולות הזמינו כותרת שמתייחסת אליהן, ובגד הגוף שלבש, עם פסים תכולים, העלה לי את האסוציאציה של השיר של אלטון ג'ון BLUE EYES, אלא שלילדון שלי היו וישנן - עיניים חומות. בדיוק כמו של אמא :))).

A page I've made for a sketch challenge at an Israeli online store.

The photo is of my eldest, when he was 6 months old. His big eyes, along with the bluish strips on his cloth, made me think about Elton John's song "Blue Eyes", only my boy has brown eye, hence the title.

A Wonderful Day lo

As soon as I saw #86 palette at The Color Room, I new right away what photo I want to scrap for the palette. Here's the palette:

The photo is of my boys, 4 years ago, at a playground. We were on our way for a weekend with friends and stopped at that park, whith small zoo. After walking in the zoo, the boys played at the playground untill it was time to move on. The grungy look of that playground, along with my kids cloths, go perfectly with this palette. So I grabbed the matching cs, dp and embellishments.

I was inspired by two beautiful sketches - #184 Creative Scrappers and #261 Pencil Lines.

I mixed and matched different companies here - DCWV, MME, Glitz, Miss Elizabeth, Stamperia. I also mixed different kinds of flowers - fussy cutiing, stamped, crochet. rolled flowers and dryer sheet flowers.

I distressed all edges and inked them and did some handstitching. Rusty alphas and a chipboard with matching colors and great sentiment completed the overall look.

דף לאתגר צבעים ב-The ColorRoom. אני מאד אוהבת את האתר הזה, כי הוא מביא שילובי צבעים שלא הייתי יוצרת בעצמי, ולפעמים הם מאד מאתגרים עבורי. כשראיתי את השילוב הנוכחי, היה לי מייד ברור באיזו תמונה אשתמש, תמונה של הילדים משחקים בגן המשחקים באגם חי ביראון, לפי כ-4 שנים, כשהיינו בדרכנו לטיול עם חברים בצפון.

הצבעים המהוהים/חלודים של המתקנים בגן השעשועים, ביחד עם הבגדים שלבשו הילדים, התאימו לי מאד לשילוב הצבעים של האתגר.

לעיצוב עצמו השתמשתי בשתי סקיצות, שדומות מאד אחת לשניה. שילבתי בין קארדסטוקים וניירות מדוגמים של הרבה חברות - DCWV, MME, GLITZ, MISS ELIZABETH. שילוב נוסף הוא בין סוגי פרחים שונים - גזורים מדף מדוגם, מוחתמים, פרחי קרושה, פרחים מקופלים ופרחים מנייר של מייבש כביסה. הרבה תפירה ידנית ועוד יותר הרבה יישון של הדפים כולם. אותיות סול מנצנצות בצבע ארד/חלודה וצ'יפבורד בצבעים תואמים - השלימו את המראה הכולל.

A CAS & KISS card I've made, using some scraps, for two challenges - Cas-ual Fridays for the sketch and day 271 at 365 Cards, which asked to keep it simple - cs base, 1 dp, 2 embellisments (mine are pearls and stmping on the dp. I hope that 3 pearls still count as one embellishment...) and a sentiment.

במסגרת ניצול שאריות הדפים המדוגמים, הכנתי כרטיס נו"פ (נקי ופשוט). היצמדות לסגנון הנו"פ מאפשרת להכין כרטיסים כאלו בזמן קצר ביותר, אז הרווחתי שתי ציפורים במכה אחת :))).

Another Christmas card, with a recycle/repurpose twist

I've made a Christmas card with non traditional christmas colors, and it was made for #94 sketch at Tuesday Trio:

There was a twist on the challenge - use something recycled/repurposed. It was a perfect match with the challenge at BasicGrey, which asked to use a household item or something you found around the house. All dp are BG (Marjolaine 6x6 pad and Porcelain 6x6 pad).

I recycled two items - the first one is the 'ribbon', which is actually a left over from curtains. On the bow, I added the 2nd recycled item - the pale blue flower was made from a used dryer sheet, that I colored with distress ink and sewed into a flower.
The sentiement is a freebie from Desert Diva.

The sentiment is from Deseret Diva. The rhinestones are from a local craft store. I distressed all edges.

עוד כרטיס ברכה לחג המולד (יש מספיק חברים בחו"ל לשלוח להם...), עם צבעים שאינם מסורתיים של חג המולד. הכנתי את הכרטיס לאתגר סקיצה מס' 94 של שלוש בשלישי, וצריך היה גם להשתמש בפריט מיחזור ולתת לו שימוש אחר מהרגיל. טוויסט שכזה נוצר בשבילי :)), אני אוהבת מאד למחזר חומרים ולהשתמש בהם ביצירה (ע"ע המיני אלבומים שלי, שכמעט כולם עשויים על בסיס של קופסאות קורנפלקס/גלילי נייר טואלט/דיסקים ישנים/קרטון גלי של אריזות מהסופר).

השתמשתי בשני פריטים - ה'סרט' הוא שארית של וילון ועליו תפרתי פרח שהכנתי מדף משומש של מייבש כביסה. את הדף צבעתי עם דיו דיסטרס ותפרתי לפרח.

ומה עוד על השולחן שלי בהכנות? שני דפי אלבום, בשני שילובי צבעים שונים לגמרי. אני מקווה להספיק לסיים את שניהם במהלך השבוע.
השמש שהייתה היום הייתה בבחינת 'אור של מקרר'.... מאד קר אצלנו בחוץ. צעיר הבנים אוהב למדוד את הטמפרטורות בתוך ומחוץ לבית, ובערב מדדנו בחוץ 8-9 מעלות... העיקר שבבית חמים ונעים.
תודה על תשומת הלב ושיהיה שבוע קל ונעים, ואם אפשר - קצת יותר חמים. גשם זה בסדר, אבל לא קור מקפיא שכזה...

בניסיון ליישם את העצות של קרין ד. ועלמה 7, לשימוש בשאריות שיש לי מכל מיני דפים מעוצבים להכנת כרטיסים, הכנתי 3 כרטיסים, בכולם השתמשתי בשאריות מפרוייקטים אחרים. שניים מהם בגווני כחול, לבן, חום/קראפט - גוונים בהם השתמשתי בשני דפים שהכנתי לאחרונה.
