Shiny Happy People - lo


After I finished my cd mini album, I wanted to scrap the leftover photos, this time on a 12x12 page.
I took these photos on a journey we had on Feb 2009 to Nahal David, nearby Dead Sea, and it's of my boys paddling in one of the pools along the stream, and of the great fall of that stream.

And I'm entering this lo to the following challenges:

אחרי שסיימתי את המיני אלבום מתקליטורים, נשארו לי כמה תמונות ורציתי להכין מהן דף גדול. התמונות הן מנחל דוד. הילדים היו כל כך מאושרים להשתכשך בבריכות המים שבערוץ הנחל.
את העיטור של פרחי התכלת עשיתי מגלגול של תחבושות שנצבעו בצבע אקרילי - פטנט שלמדתי מיפית (תודה!!). הפרח השמשי נתפר משארית בד ומרחתי עליו פסים של סטיקלס.

לפחות יצא לי  להשתמש קצת בחומרים בצבע כתום, שאיננו שמיש אצלי כל כך בד"כ. אהבתי מאד את הניגודיות שבין הכתום לבין התכלת. הייתי צריכה קצת איוורור מדפים בסגנון וינטאג'י, משהו קצת עם צבעים עזים ועליזים.
רק מלהסתכל על הצבע המדהים של בריכת המים מתחת למפל, נהיה לי קריר ונעים בחום הבלתי נסבל הזה מסביב.
שתהיה שבת שלום (בלי מטחים של פצמ"רים).

    הדף משגע. גם אני לא משתמשת הרבה בכתום אבל כאן הוא משתלב נהדר עם התכלת ועם הגוון של דף הרקע.
