Make a Snowy Wish

For the last few days I feel that I really do need a wish to come true, and I hope that everything will just come right real soon...
Next week we are going on a family vacation for Hanukkah holiday, and I'm looking forward for alot of fun time with my kids, and taking a break from all the troubles around.
Today is the first day of Hanukkah, and we will light the first candle on the Hanukkah lamp. The kids are very excited about it, and so am I. This is my fav holiday :).
Ever since Pam brought the quilling challenge over at 365 cards, I' wanted to make
this card, and I got to do it only now. I just couldn't take it out of my mind... LOL.
The sentiment is from Simple doodles, a freebie one. there are a lot of them and you should go and grab some. next month, for the new year, I'll be a GDT there! I'm so excited!
and it goes for this challenges:
sketch - #145 CPS
sketch - #41 corrosive
quilling technique - day 282 365 cards
colors - #27 spcc
colors - blue& brown - #28 stamping for the weekend
pick 3 keeping your card simple - stamping vacation (i picked: only one color of cardstock, precut card bases , & no more than one embellishment . it also have a lot of 'white space'.... Pam, does it count for day 286 too?... LOL)
clean & simple - think ink tuesday
a card for a men- #1 cards for men
holiday feel - # 19 die cuts R us
winter wonderland (snowflakes) - stamp something
fnacy folds - #58 one stop craft

  15. First, Happy Hanukkah to you and your family. We used to celebrate with some friends when we lived in NC and I miss it. They used to come to our Christmas Concert at our church and then we'd have a Hanukkah celebration with them. We did the same on Easter...they came to Easter dinner with us and we went to a Passover feast at their house. It was nice to expose all the kids to both faiths.

Oh, and perfect quillig card, btw. LOL I am sooooo proud of you. Get out your halo!
